He said, knowing that you were scared.

Mr. Kim sighed, cupped your cheeks, and pecked them.

You smiled at him.

You all went inside. Your mom helped you clean up and made you soup. She even cried, saying it was all her fault for letting you go out alone at night. You told her it wasn't her fault. You gave him puppy eyes.
