Credits to JK Rowling except for my oc's. Last chapter was all about Alice and this time, it's about Ruby (kind of). I feel as though I'm leaving them out and I want to make them a background story just so that I have something to work on.

The reason why I made this book in the first place was because I based this off from the Unholy Trinity from Glee. They consist of three members. Quinn - Santana - Brittany. and I'm trying to make their characters as close as possible to the Unholy Trinity but while also putting some other qualities like Alice' stupid moments at times.

Anyways, on to the book. Please comment, vote and follow! Thank you!

As Alice ran away from the great hall, I contemplated whether or not to follow her, maybe looking as confused as ever. But after a long time staring, I found it useless to follow her.
She wanted to be alone and I'll give her time.

For a few months— no scratch that. Ever since I met Alice, I liked her. Liked her, liked her.

I may have come across as naive, naïve, and a bit of a snob, but I'm no stranger to love. It was because of the manner I act stupid and naïve that she noticed me. Some of it was a ruse, but there were times when I was completely oblivious.

The reason I like unicorns and rainbows is because it was a clue that I wasn't straight. But the good news was that no one knew. I'm not really sure... Was it because I wanted everyone to question me, or was it merely to get her attention? I'm not making much sense, am I?

As I walked towards the Slytherin table, Quinn caught the sight of me and let out a big smile. "Hey! Where's Alice?" She gestured to a seat beside her and I settled there.

"Elle s'est enfuie. Je ne voulais pas être suivi. Je voulais la suivre mais je savais que ce serait inutile." I said, placing my bag beside me.

(Translation: She ran away. Didn't want to be followed. I wanted to follow her but I knew it would be useless.)

"Elle s'est enfuie? Pourquoi?" Quinn asked. Worry etching her features.

(Translation: She ran away? Why?)

"Je ne sais pas." I shrugged though I knew that it was because of her. But for the sake of Alice, I stayed silent. "Mais elle était... contrariée?" I added, trying to find the right words.

(Translation: I don't know. But she was...upset?)

"Upset? Why was she upset?" Quinn wondered.

"Je ne sais pas vraiment... Si je le savais, je te le dirais mais pour l'instant je ne suis pas sûr." I answered her

(Translation: I don't really know... If I did know, I'd tell you but for now I'm not sure.)

"Okay if you say so..." She said unsure.

For the rest of the evening, I remained silent. Not knowing what to say or do, I chose to remain silent. We were supposed to go to Hogsmeade the next day. I'm not sure what we'd do there. I know Hogsmeade is a wizarding village in the United Kingdom, but what can you do there? Perhaps the shops would be amusing, or perhaps the houses would be pleasant to live in? I'm not certain.

Let's just hope Alice shows up the next day. Also, let's hope she doesn't flee because of Quinn.

The next morning, like any other, was frigid. I was putting on my earmuffs and mittens in my dorm room. Outside, the wind twisted the leaves into red and gold spirals. I was pleased I wasn't outside right now because it was frigid, but I knew I'd have to leave my room sooner or later.
