I woke up to the darkening forest, the sun just starting to set. Both Ryoko and the other dragon were asleep and snoring softly. I let out a sigh and patted the larger dragon's snout earning a huff from it. I smiled slightly before realizing that the dragon's ruby red eyes were staring at me. They weren't the scared and angry ones that I saw a few hours ago, they were tired and sad. I started humming a tune from my home village that my mom used to sing when I was sad as I leaned my forehead against the dragon's red scaled one. My white hair, the differentiating factor of my village's people, fell out of the hood it was hidden under. I noticed 'Red's' eyes widened at the sight before he backed away from me causing Ryoko to fall off their back. She quickly got up and scampered over to me, wrapping herself around my shoulders like a scarf and let out angry coos.

"I don't think he meant to do that Ryoko," I spoke softly and scratched her brown and green head.

I stood up making 'Red' flinch and back away a little further. I sighed and crouched down trying to make myself seem small while I took my hood off.

"Easy big boy, I'm not going to hurt you" I calmly stated in dragontongue.

He let out small growl-like noises while hesitating to step closer to me. All of a sudden, there was rustling in the bushes not far from where Ryoko and I were. I pulled out my knife and lifted my hood covering my hair once more while Ryoko got into a defensive position. Then, out of the bushes came a man in a red cloak. Just before I could attack him, 'Red' got up and ran straight for him and started purring while the man scratched behind his ear. Me and Ryoko stood there looking at the scene in front of us a little confused. I stood up but still stayed defensive and Ryoko crawled onto my shoulder. The man took notice of our movement and whipped his head to face us.

"Who are you!?" He bellowed across the clearing before stomping up to me.

Ryoko growled at him, causing him to glare at her but she didn't back down and kept Growling at him.

"This lizard yours?" He asked, visibly ticked off.

"She is, and she's a dragon not a lizard," I countered.

The red dragon started growling and making other animalistic noises at the two of us, still keeping his distance from me.

"What's wrong with you Kirishima?" The man asked looking at the red dragon.

Kirishima continued making noises. As he did the tall ash blond glared at me for a good few seconds before his hand came up and flung my hood of of my head, revealing my hair once more.

"You weren't kidding shitty hair…..we have a Pure Snow on our hands.
