"A w-what?" I stood there shocked, not quite understanding what a Pure Snow was.
The angry ash blond in front of me looked confused, glancing at Kirishima from time to time.
"You've never been called that or even heard that term before?" He asked.
I shook my head.
"My village didn't talk with outsiders, your the first person I've met outside," I said.
"Didn't? Like….past tense?" He seemed even more confused "do they talk with them now or something?"
Ryoko and I stared at each other sadly.
"I'm all that's left," I sighed "me and Ryoko that is."
I heard Kirishima whimper before bumping his snout on my side. I patted his head with a sad smile.
"Your dragons didn't protect them?" He questioned.
I looked at him still petting Kirishima.
"We lost our dragons 13 years ago…" I looked down avoiding eye contact.
"What's your name Pure Snow?" Asked the ash blond.
"(Y/n)" I answered.
"I like Pure Snow better," he scoffed. "I'm Bakugo, Bakugo katsuki."
I held my hand out expecting him to shake it. Instead he slapped it away and stomped off. I looked at Kirishima and sighed.
"You're friends with him? I feel sorry for you" I whispered to him.
"I HEARD THAT!" Bakugo bellowed across the clearing.
I stuck my tongue out and chuckled.
Kirishima winced and layed down panting heavily. I quickly ran to where Kirishima's leg had been cut and saw my shirt that was wrapped around his leg now soaked in crimson blood. He whimpered softly as I untied my shirt and looked at his wound.
“It’ll be alright Kirishima, I just need to clean it” I cooed softly.
I motioned for Ryoko to come over and told her to get some moss dunked in water, as much as she could carry. She hopped away into the forest. By now, Bakugo was by my side looking at the wound his dragon had.
"Those damn fuckers," he muttered.
I looked at him before asking "do you know who did this?"
He nodded but didn't say anything about it. I decided not to push too far into the matter and focus on Kirishima instead. It took a while for Ryoko to get back with the moss but when she did she looked like she could have been made of moss. Her green and brown scales added to the look. I grabbed the moss off of her and gently put it on Kirishima's wound. He hissed in pain and Bakugo went to stroke his head to calm him down.
"I need something to wrap around his leg…" I grumbled mostly to myself.
"Here," Bakugo threw an extremely thick roll of bandages at me, "Use that."
I quickly got to work wrapping Kirishima's leg up. It took a while but I finally finished and Kirishima looked better already.
"Hey dumbass," Bakugo said.
"I'm not going to comment on that," I retorted.
He huffed and looked at me.
"I guess I owe you one for saving him," he stated but it almost sounded like a question.
"I helped him because I wanted too, not because I had too, so you don't owe me a thing," I inquired.
"Not even if I let you travel with us? You don't exactly look like you have a destination," he smirked at me.
Part of me wanted to punch that smirk off his face, the other wanted to accept.
"Where are you two headed?" I asked.
Bakugo looked at me, then to Kirishima.
"Don't know."
I stood there dumbfounded.
"You want me to come with you and you don't even know where you're going!?"
He nodded. I can't believe he just said that
I thought to myself.
"Fine. I'll join you but only because Ryoko could learn a few things for Kirishima."
At the sound of their names, the two dragons looked at us.
"Whatever," Bakugo sneered.
