This guy is unnecessarily bright. I had to shield my eyes from him.

"Am I like this when I use my light magic?"

I asked to no one in particular. A spell was launched but luckily I was able to shield everyone before they could get hurt.

"I was not expecting you to be able to shield my attack. I'm the leader of the midnight sun, Litch."

Litch picked up Sally with a sad look in his eyes. Her frostbite looked even worse in the shining light. I kinda feel bad for going that far.

"Look at you Sally. Poor thing, they've hurt you so badly."

If I didn't know better I would have thought he actually cared for her.

"I tried master."

This was just getting sad for me. Now I really felt bad for her, bit she didn't know any better. As they were having their moment I decided to pull a me.

"Aw this is sweet. But like we need to stop you from doing what ever your evil plan is and we don't have all day."

Everyone just stopped and looked at me with a blank look. I just did the same thing back. It became very awkward.

Litch just sighed and motioned to valtos to open up a special portal so he could drop Sally through it. Before Sally could be completely gone she looked over to me and Asta.

"Good by Asta, and Izanagi. Don't forget you two belong to me."

I shivered from the way she spoke.

"I'm fifteen woman!"

All attention went back to the new arrivals. Valtos was asking for forgiveness but Litch was saying that we fought dirty. I got pissed of from this.

"Asta stand back. Let me take care of this."

I was not going to let anyone talk about us like that. Not after what they did to those kids.

"But Izan, even if your the strongest, you still can only do so much."

Gauche said. I just smirked. Yah, I might have an infant mana pool but stamina and strength wise, I can still get tired. Lucky for me I grew up with Asta.

"Don't worry about me. I got this."

I can tell they were still a little hesitant about my decision. However, they did back off a little.  Litch looked at me with a hint of amusement.

"What is someone like you going to do. I can't even feel any magic energy at all."

I summoned my ice spear ounce again and twirled it around.

"I should advise you not to assume things of me."

He tisked me and started attacking. His light magic was really fast and a few did get me. It was the first time someone actually got a good hit on me. I was getting impatien, and with that mistakes. As I was going in for the strike I ended up miss calculating. I was off my a few centimeters and only grazing his cheek. Not enough to hurt him but enough to give him minor frostbite.

"You were a fool to face me on your own. You aren't even stronger or fast enough."

I was to late. He was powering up an attack and I couldn't dodge it in time. Before I could blink I felt a familiar magic. I gave a smile. Finral's portal appear and out came Yami. Now it's time for the real fun.

"Captain Yami!"

We all celebrate. However there was always the one to ruin it, and surprisingly it wasn't me.
