I am not having a good time. I am not having fun either.

-flash back (☞ ͡ ͡° ͜ ʖ ͡ ͡°)☞-

"Ok everybody we have arrived"

Magna said as we all landed. We all walk off to the changing rooms to get our swimsuits on. I was about to go into the men's changing room before a lifeguard stopped me.

"Sorry miss. This is the male changing room, the women's room is that way."

The lifeguard said pointing in a different direction, to said rooms. I gave him a really look.

"But I'm a boy."

The lifeguard didn't look too amused.

"Very funny miss."

We started arguing for a good twenty minutes before I finally gave up. During this whole thing two idiots who shared a single brain cell were laughing at me. Fortunately when I leave the changing room they'll see I'm an actual boy... No they did not. The moment I stepped out I started making my way to the rest of my squad.

Not even halfway there the same lifeguard stopped me for a second time.

"Miss, you can't just come out here without a top on!"

"Oh come on!"

Now my whole squad was laughing at me. Once again we argued about my whole gender. Now I had a beach hoodie on that was halfway zipped up.

-flash back end-
Everyone was doing their own thing; Noelle was hiding behind a tree, Asta was daydreaming about something, Gray was floating in the water, and Vanessa was showing off her bathing suit. I found an empty set of beach chairs and claimed one as my owne. I leaned back, put on a pair of sunglasses I bought, and relaxed. Not too far away Magna made his way to the group in only a loincloth. Luck had used his lightning to make a spark setting the fabric on fire. Panicked, Magna started to run around thinking it would put the fire out but it didn't. Luck was enjoying this because he was chasing the taller man while laughing.

"This is what karma feels like!"

I called out to him. I guess he was too busy running to hear me. Venessa must have gotten a little bored because she made her way over to an empty chair next to me.

"Hey, why aren't you out there with the rest?"

She asked me in her almost drunken state. I cringed at the question,

"I would rather not subjugate myself to all the flirting from these guys."

The older lady nodded while taking a swig of her alcohol. Grey showed up as Vinessa and sat at the end of my chair. Apparently she ditched Finral. The three of us saw that Charmy was trying to hit the watermelon, we tried to guide her in the right direction which failed miserably. She ended up missing the mellon and hitting Asta instead. That led to chaos on a level only achieved by our squad. Noell was the one to join us after calming down , and now four of us were minding our own business, until two plain guys showed up.

"Hey there, cuties."

I sat up and lifted my glasses up to my head to get a better look at them. while the three girls just looked over at them.

"Get lost insects."

Talk about harsh Noelle. I looked into the distance to spot Sekke Standing there. I shook my head and pulled my sunglasses back down going back to laying in the sun. I gave a smile to myself as I heard his cries as he got blasted and trampled by the team in the distance. Maybe I am having a good time.

Asta finally seemed to remember why we were actually here and asked why we were messing around. That's when Yami decided to make his presence known and kicked Asta from behind. Yami buried everybody in the sand, except me. I just stood next to him innocently.

"Alright, gather around, you idiots and Izanagi."

Yami said getting the attention of the single brain cell team.

"Hold up! How come Izanagi isn't buried like us?! He was goofing off too!"

Noelle pointed out, the rest also agreeing.

"Because."

Was all Yami said. Damn he played the because card. Nobody could argue with that.

"This is obvious favoritism."

Yami chose to ignore Finral's comment.

"I picked up some information while you were messing around."

Yami went on explaining about where the stone was located and how to get there. The squad was shocked to learn he actually did his job.

"Izanagi did help though."

I chuckled and smiled at him,

"Aw thanks,but I didn't do much. I just nudged you in the right direction, gave you hints and all that. Everything was all you."

Yami went on about the mission, and I just zoned out, and started building a sand castle. Until I was called by Yami.

"So Izanagi will take us."

I just looked at him for a minuet and bluntly answered him,

"No"

And I went back to my sand castle, not caring about the consequences of my actions and words. I could smell the shock and fear of the squad from saying no, to a man who doesn't like being told no. He just huffed the cigarette and scanned my eyes. Yami then turned to Noelle.

"Ok fine, Noelle will take us."

I could see everyone's reactions after all that.

"What! Why can't Izanagi do it!?"

Noelle shouted and begged.

"Because I don't want to."

"Because he doesn't want to."

Yami repeated casually, like it was common sense. She kept arguing about how she shouldn't be chosen for this job, but Yami didn't change his mind. Noelle realized this was a losing battle and gave up finally expecting the roll. Once that was doneYami motioned me to follow him and we left everyone to figure out how to get out of the sand themselves.

"So, what can we expect from this?"

Yami got to the point rather quickly. I huffed and crossed my arms.

"Nothing good, that's for sure. The people who live there can be trusted, however we might obtain some unwanted guests."

Yami huffed his cigar and looked at the cloudless sky.

"That's unfortunate. And the others?"

I knew what he was trying to ask without asking it. I just churned and gave him a smile.

"Don't worry too much about them, they can handle this."

We said nothing, falling into a surprisingly comfortable silence. We watched as the squad finally got out of the sand and once more ran around having fun. Me and Yami both looked at eachother wordlessly agreeing to allow them this fun before the mission really began. Heaven knows that they would need it.
