Appearance
Kimiko is a slender, well-built teenage girl with milky skin bordering light tan, with her height about average for her age. Her eyes are gentle pastel red, with hints of pink and light purple in them, effectively making her eyes kaleidoscope-like. Kimiko has slightly wavy hair a shade of pale honey blonde, reaching just below her shoulder blades, styled to the left side of her head in a ponytail and secured with a pink-green Butterfly Hairpin, matching with Kanao.
Usually out on missions, Kimiko is often seen wearing her Demon Slayer uniform. Her uniform is a slight lilac-tinted version of the normal Demon Slayer uniform, with the exception of a just-above-knee skirt instead of the usual hakama pants. Along with this, Kimiko wears a pair of white laced-up, heeled boots with silver soles and heels. She also dons a white half-cape over her uniform, fastened with a light orange triple knot on the right side, opposite to Kanao's.

Personality
Kimiko is quiet, if not completely silent, and indecisive due to the intense bullying and trauma she experienced as a younger child. She relies heavily on the coin that decides for her. The only people Kimiko trusts are few: Shinobu, Kanao, the Butterfly Mansion residents and Sanemi.
Even after being saved, Kimiko continued to show very little emotion, almost complete apathy, and unable to do much without the coin to pave the way for her. Kimiko only seemed to fully trust Kanao, the two girls usually seen together.
Kimiko also have an odd way of speaking. Due to having Shinobu and Kanao gain an understanding to her brief and short sentences of reply, Kimiko has a somewhat robotic way of speaking when talking in longer sentences, which would be amusing for the onlookers but probably frustrating for the people talking to her.
