"So this is Birmingham." Aunt Rose called out from the front seat of the cab where she was seated.

Obviously, Macy and Cooper didn't decide to come fetch us since they had to go fishing with their dad.

It was their official fishing day and can't be canceled according to Aunt Rose.

I got envious about their happy family that would never procrastinate a family bonding. I really hoped I had a family like theirs too.

She turned a little out of her seat to speak and reached for my hand, "I know it's really hard for you and don't wanna talk about it but I am really sorry about how my sister, Anna, hurt you. "

I felt like tears were blurring my sight and so I closed my eyes and nodded. She tapped my hand and went back to her proper position.

I couldn't help but cry remembering the reason why my loving parents broke up. It broke my heart so much.

"They fucked up and maybe can't figure out how to solve it." I said in a lifeless tone.

"They really just need space."

"I just can't understand, Rose. All I keep asking to myself is WHY?" I ought to emphasize the last word. For sure the driver wouldn't mind at all.

"You're still young, Tenny. "

That's what they always say. You'restillyoung. Is being STILL young the problem why people like me can't understand this kind of situation? Then I hope I am fuckin' old already.

Rose started to point her finger on the street maybe giving the driver directions. After the car followed a curve, it then set off on a sky blue painted house. And at that time I knew it was my Aunt's. The house was a country type which was pretty.

After the taxi driver got paid and dropped our luggage, we walked straight to the house.

Aunt opened the door for me and I made myself in. The house was a little bigger than ours. The warm comfy feeling welcomed me.

Aunt Rose rubbed her pale hands against her green skinny jeans. "I'm sorry, the three probably forgot to fix the arrange the living room."

I looked around to see what she meant that wasn't arranged and realized that the couch wasn't parallel against the wall and some stockings were left lying on the floor.

She immediately ran and picked everything up and put everything in it's right place.

"No. That's totally fine." I smiled,"I should be the one thanking, actually."

She smiled back. "Come. Let me show you your room. And please make yourself at home."

"Sure." I replied with a gracious smile.

"So I'm gonna leave you now so that you can put your things in the closet over there," she pointed at the white closet adjacent to my new bed when she introduced me to my new room, "and the what knots." She finished and shrugged.

I nodded and thanked in reply. When she was already halfway out of the room, I immediately ran to my single sized bed and jumped on it and felt the warm feeling it gave back.
