5000 BC, MESOPOTAMIA

On the rocky beach as waves crashed into the shore, a young boy was cutting fish to eat as his father battled against the waves for more fish.

Abruptuly, two men atop the cliffside started shouting warnings at them in their native tongue, urging them to flee from the apparent urgent danger.

"It's coming! Run!"

The young man stood and looked at his father calling out to him.

"Run." His father said to him before a giant alien like creature- a deviant lept out of the sea devouring the man without mercy.

Stunned the young boy was slightly frozen as he backed away from the deviant that was charging towards him, beams for light and heat surged through the air knocking down the deviant.

Ikaris had used his powers to ensure the boy wasn't harmed.

Y/N quickly signed to Makkari to get the boy out of the way. Makkari dashed towards the boy just as a deviant opened it's mouth behind him.

More and more deviants emerged from the ground as everyone who could fought them off.

Getting a bit bored Y/N had scouted for more deviants, spotting one as she quickly held it in two golden walls and crushing it.

Kingo was shooting at a deviant and soon asked for Y/N's help.

“What can't handle it?” She teased laughing lightly.

“Help me here, won't you?” A low chuckle emitting his lips. Y/N happily helped him landing a few blows, knowing Kingo would want to finish the deviant himself.

After helping Kingo, Y/N had manifested a giant blade to drop from the sky slicing one last deviant in half. Druig had admired this from afar, grinning as she ensured everyone was alright. He was mesmerized by everything about her, her combat movements, how she used her powers to her advantage, her enthralling personality.

The Eternals weren't a team, not to each other's eyes. They were a family, granted they got on each other's nerves sometimes, they knew that when it mattered most, they would have each other's back. After all, what's a few blows with family.

Gilgamesh and Thena has graciously worked together, killing off the deviants the others couldn't fight off. Soon enough, all the deviants in the immediate area were dead, and the humans looked at the Domo appearing in confusion. The rest of the team descended from the Domo, all of them now gathering infront of the humans.

Weapons drawn, the humans advanced towards them slowly, slightly jabbing their spears at the Eternals. Before any harm was done, Druig's eyes flickered gold controling them, prompting them to drop their spears.

Releasing his control over them, Druig stood beside Y/N as the team stood before them.

“Ikaris was better at fighting the deviants by the way.” Druig lightly teased, refering to the little competition between the two.

“Oh please I killed more than him, and besides who are you to speak you didn't even help.” She remarked at him taunting, grinning at him.

“Ouch. Harsh huh?” he lightly chuckled, holding his hands on his chest in fake hurt. “I guess in some ways you were better.”

“I'm not just better I'm the best you just don't want to admit it.” She commented looking away in somewhat fake anger.

“Shall we just agree to disagree then darling?” He offered for peace.

“Never.” She said lightly kicking his shin.

“I never took you for one to abuse me princess.” He commented as he slightly rubbed his shin in pain, it wasn't enough to know him over but it still slightly hurt.

“Oh no! The man baby's hurt boo hoo.” She said sarcastically, but then apologized as she still hurt him even if it was barely a kick.

“When you're done flirting we could use some help reassuring the humans here?”  Makkari signed to Y/N grinning at her.

“Shut up.”  Y/N signed back smiling a little.

Sersi walked forward, picking up a blade and transforming it into a better version, a dazzling blue with golden details, presenting it to the boy as a sign of peace.

Y/N watched for the boy's reaction as he slowly picked up the blade from Sersi's hand seeming to accept that they were peaceful. She smiled teeth showing slightly her dimples popping out, lightly bouncing on her toes as she watched with excitement.

Druig admired her as she bounced a small smile appearing on his features.

“You make it too obvious lover boy.” Kingo whispered in his ear, earning a harsh glare from Druig. Kingo chuckled as Druig turned back to see Makkari and Y/N talking to each other.
