Chapter27:Avoiding the Topic

~Y/N's POV~
It turns out that I'm just an idiot who lacked sleep and was too stressed which caused me to faint and rest for the last two days, jeez, how bad could I get? Though I still felt guilty for Shoyo's incident, If I hadn't dragged him out to the cold snowy nights, he would've still be healthy....

There was no one in my room so I got up and walked down the hall to find Ivy, I haven't seen her in awhile since I've been so busy, I opened the door of the nursery and Ivy was sitting all alone in her crib, she looks like she just had woken up, I went inside the room and sat beside her crib as her little hands reached out to me from the gaps "Mmma!" She said and I looked at her, she smiled when she touched the end of my nose "Mama!" Ivy chimed, she looked so cute.... I got up, I picked her up and I realized that I've gotten slightly weaker... I stood in the middle of the room, I was wearing a white nightdress that reached to my ankles and were longsleeved, almost matching the one that Ivy was wearing.

The wall mirror caught my attention, I stared at mirror as I saw myself in the reflection, holding Ivy in my arms... I looked different... it's not like my appearance changed but the way I saw myself... It looked like I was actually living my own life and not basing myself to my missions. Since several months had passed by Ivy could now walk while holding onto the things around her, she picks up on things fast and could say a couple words. She held onto my hands as we slowly walked down the hallway, I went downstairs with Ivy walking cutely beside me, I soon heard a crash from upstairs so I picked up Ivy and grabbed the closest thing to me which was a vase.

"Where's Y/N!?" I heard my brother scream, I sighed in relief and placed the vase down, my throat felt sore so I didn't bother to yell back, I went to the kitchen and got myself some water, I heard them running down the stairs and Ivy babbled happily, they looked at me and Hiroyuki grabbed me and just shook me "STOP SCARING US LIKE THAT!" He said "You're making me dizzy...." I said and he stopped "It's okay, fatigue just caught up." I said while grabbing some bread and chocolate spread, I sat down beside Ivy, I started to spread some of the chocolate on the bread "Where's the team?" I asked "They're at Asahikawa." Horiyoshi said and I took a piece off my food and fed the small piece to Ivy "Yin and the kids?" I asked before biting into my simple sandwich "They went out to buy groceries." Hiroyuki said and I just nodded "Are you sure you're okay?" Yoshi asked and I just raised a brow "I mean you've been asleep for 2 days." Yuki said and I just shrugged "I'm okay." I answered, after eating I left Ivy in my older brother's care, I changed into a warm outfit and called out to Copper, my dog.

He ran to me and I placed him on a leash. We went outside and I saw two men watching Shoyo's family closely from a distance... those Tatoos on their arm... they're a local gang. "Copper, on guard." I said as we walked closer to them, I took a deep breath and acted as if I was lost, I know stupid idea. "Uhm Hello sir..." I said and they both turned to me "Can you tell me where the way to Karasuno HighSchool is?" I said in a innocent tone "Just go down the hill and go straight, you'll see the school there." One of the guys said "Thank You!" I said and before walking off I purposely dropped Copper's leash "Chase." I mumbled and Copper started chasing the boys. We ended up chasing them into the forest and they tripped over some roots that were popping up from the ground "W-Who!?" They said and I took off Copper's leash off his collar "Hi, I'm Dos." I said and the color drained from their faces, I quickly tied them up together.

I sent Copper back to the house to get the little cart, I started taking away every bit of their weaponry and Copper came back pulling on the cart, I dragged the two guys on the cart after I shoved a piece of cloth into their mouths, I pulled the cart back up to the house and called my brothers out. They were confused at first but soon picked up on what I was implying "Have fun." I said while grabbing another leash and taking Copper and Ivy out to take a nice walk around the hillside. As I was walking down the snowy streets, I kept Ivy close to me, even if we were wearing a warm coat I still have to take a count that she's a cute little child that still haven't fully strengthen her immune system.

Soon the family car stopped beside us and it was Yin, I gave her the baby so Ivy doesn't get too cold, they headed back to the house while I decided to run a bit with Copper, I ended stopping by Coach Ukai's family store, I entered and Coach greeted me, I went down to one of the isles to get some snacks for me and Copper.

"Did you just say Y/N?" I heard a familiar say from another isle, That was definitely my boyfriend. I caught a glimpse of myself from the mini fridge's reflection and I looked so bad. I was pale, redness on every inch of my exposed skin.... I looked like I got dragged into a horror show. I grabbed all the snacks I needed and pulled down my hood and kept my head down while paying for the snacks, I could feel his eyes on me... After paying I went outside but I bumped into someone which led to me ending up on the store's floor, Copper was being defensive but I patted his head to calm him down which worked.

"Are you okay?" He asked "Yeah." I said while getting up "Y/N-San?" He said and I looked to see that it was Yamaguchi "Oh Yamaguchi. It's been awhile." I said "Did someone say Y/N?" Suga-San said as he peeked from the outside of the store, he looked at me and the absolute horror in his eyes made me panic slightly "Oh My God!" He said and I felt arms pulling back, I looked and it was Shoyo, he looked like he was about to cry "What happened to you? You look so Cold!" He cried and I didn't expect him to react this way "Ukai-San do you have a heater or a heatpad?" Daichi-San asked "I'm fine really! I've just been out in the cold for too long..." I said "What are you even doing outside? I was told that you just regained consciousness." Kageyama said and I quickly turn to him and saw that he had a hand over his mouth, he didn't mean to actually say that....

"Tobio!" Me and Suga-San exclaimed "What does he mean?" Shoyo asked while warming up my cold hands "I... I am totally fine. I'll be on my way now before I get hypothermia!" I said as I backed away from the boys "Y/N Wait!" Shoyo exclaimed and when I tried walking a bit faster, I slipped on the pavement, good thing He caught me just in time. "Tell me, please...." He pleaded and I stood there in his arms, quiet and couldn't utter a single word to explain it.
