Chapter31:Separate

TIMESKIP!!!!
-2 Years Later-

~Y/N's POV~
I was there when Shoyo received his diploma. He has graduated from Karasuno, He was offered to train in Brazil, he was gonna leave in a week while me and the team were spending the next 5 months in Chicago.

We all took pictures and went out to party abit and when I came home, the sight of suitcases and duffel bags on the hallway just made me feel sluggish but it'll only be for 5 months, just 5 months of separation.

"Y/N! I finally know how to speak Portuguese!" Shoyo said proudly as he came running from the front yard to where I was sitting in the garden "Really? Congrats My Sunshine." I said "I have a feeling I won't be fluent but I really want to look like a decent person there!" He whined and I just chuckled "Vamos Tentar? (Shall we try?)" I said "Vá em frente. (Go Ahead)" He responded. We had a conversation in Portuguese, I corrected his pronunciation and words, we spent hours staring at the starry sky while we practiced his Portuguese.

He wanted to sleepover at my place, my brothers agreed and his mother already gave her permission, Natsu came along and she played with the kids. Ivy has learned to speak a bit, she's been causing a lot of mischief in the house as she started to walk and run, she's almost 3 years old now.

Weeks passed by with all of us getting ready to depart, My flight was gonna leave earlier so at the last minute I ran across the airport just to hug Shoyo. "Shoyo!" I exclaimed as I spotted him sitting in the waiting area, I jumped into his arms and he spun around "Call me when you get there!" I said. "The moment I get off the plane, I'll call you." He said while hugging me tight, the last call for my flight blared and I gave him a quick kiss "I love you." I said and I ran off to my terminal, I got onto the plane.

~Third Person POV~
Soon both planes departed and headed off to different directions. Hinata was telling Y/N over the phone about how he had lost his wallet  and a few minutes later, a man knocked and had given Hinata his missing items, he asked Y/N if she had something to do with it and she just smiled. During the span of Hinata spending the next days with Oikawa who he incidentally met there was just full of chaos. Geo and Sugawara were also in this long distance relationship, Sugawara was attending college at Japan while Geo was with her team in Chicago.

During this time apart, constant messages, pictures and other things to update each other were often sent, on days they couldn't send a message or view the message, they'd ask the others on what has gotten their girlfriends or boyfriends into a very busy mood to not even pick up the phone, these overly persistent incidents only happened in the first few weeks, soon they all got used to some time away from each other, they'd occasionally send each other messages to check in with how each other were doing, they'd also fix up a date every end of the week when they weren't busy just to have a call, Hinata would get so pumped up and excited for these calls and Y/N would just listen intently to what he had to say, every word and Hinata would do the same for her aswell.

In the middle of this temporary separation, Y/N and Hinata had a fight, Hinata had injured himself during practice and had been overworking himself so he collapsed during practice and fell to the sand, hitting his head on the net's pole. They had an argument and it ended with Y/N dropping the call, they both hated arguments. During Hinata's Recovery, he would send flowers to Y/N courtesy of the Storm 6's help of course, she wouldn't answer his calls or other messages instead she would just send a 'Thanks for the flowers.' And then end of conversation, she would either leave it on read or not see it at all, she felt bad but she was busy with training, she wanted to have long conversations but her time was limited for now.

After training Y/N went to call Hinata and he was sulking.

"I'm not mad anymore, I was just busy..." She started and Hinata slowly became energetic again, the call went on as it normally would and they've resolved their issues together. Y/N sent Hinata a present for his birthday, he happily opened it and it was a box filled with his favorite things and snacks, he was ecstatic and he bragged about it to his friends.

He was so happy to receive such a gift. When Y/N asked him if he liked it, he gave her a very eager answer "But the one I love the most isn't in this box..." He suddenly sulked "Eh? What could've I possibly missed?" Y/N asked curiously "You." He answered with a huge grin on his face, Y/N on the other hand was stammering and red, she was flustered. She covered her mouth and Hinata just chuckled, he continued to tease her more for the next several minutes and I think he broke her by the end of the call, She needed more than a few minutes to calm down while Hinata felt some sort of accomplishment feeling with himself at that moment.
