Part 9

Ikuto's Pov

I handed Dostevsky to the Special Division that I ended up meeting up with outside Chuuya's apartment complex. I saw Ango in the crowd talking to another worker, I ran up to him hugging him from behind. "Ango~!" I yelled out hearing my lover yelp at the sudden hug. "Wha- Ikuto! I'm in the middle of work!" Ango yelled out, his face getting redder at the minute due to the way we were acting in front of his subordinates. "I know but I haven't seen you or Oda in so long! It's been three years you know?" I said planting a kiss on his cheek.

"Ikuto.. not in front of my subordinates.." Ango mumbled pushing me off of him. I chuckled getting off him, he cleared his throat flattening the wrinkles I made on his suit.  "Do you regret quitting as a teacher to work alongside me?" I snickered making him sigh. "This is better than having teenagers make fun of my forehead while I'm in the middle of teaching." He said making me snort at the memory. "Hey, don't laugh at me!" He yelled smacking me in the head before going to talk to his co-worker. I patiently stood there as he finished his conversation with his co-worker. As soon as he walked away, Ango turned to me. "How was Columbia?" Ango asked grabbing my left hand. "If you're checking if I lost my ring, I in fact did not. I'm not that irresponsible." I chuckled seeing Ango give me an unimpressed look before going back to my ring.

"We've been married for seven years and have known each other for twenty-seven years. I know too well that you're very irresponsible." Ango said making me only smile at his answer. He let go of my hand and caressed my cheek. "Why didn't you say you were coming home? I could've taken the day off and spent it with you and Oda." Ango brought me into a tight hug to which I returned. "I wanted to surprise you guys but had to stop by a few places before I went home. Plus, I already predicted we'd be packed today so I got you and Oda the next three days off so we can spend all that time catching up." I mumbled against his ear while my hand was going through his hair. He'd probably get mad at me for ruining it but I don't really care. "What about the kids? Surely they'll bother us-" I cut him off by planting a kiss on his lips. "Don't worry about them, I'm sure they'll be excited to hang out with Ramon." I said smiling at Ango who sighed in response.

"You really like annoying your mentor huh?" Ango said wrapping his arms around my neck. I just grinned at him kissing him passionately. He was startled a bit but grew into the kiss. After a minute or so, he pulled away clearing his throat. "We'll continue this some other time." Ango mumbled, a slight of blush creeping on his face. "Mhm. Well, I'll see you when I get home." I said planting a kiss on his forehead and was about to walk off until he grabbed my arm. "What? You're not going home right now? Where are you going?"Ango asked, fixing his glasses in the process. "I have to stop by Osamu's place then I'll meet you guys at home." I said planting another kiss on Ango's forehead then walked out of his grasp.
I made my way to Osamu's apartment complex, ever since his graduation he's been completely different. I get that breaking up with your first love is hard, but he completely changed.

'March 16, 2018 (Graduation Day)
"Osamu! Chuuya's already at the ceremony waiting for you and you're taking forever!" I yelled in the hallway while holding a camera. "Why the fuck are you yelling at seven in the morning?!" Aki yelled coming out of her room at an alarming speed. "Aki you're not done either?! Hurry up and change!" I yelled at her to which she flipped me off. "As long as one of us go for that freak then I don't have to go." She rolled her eyes walking back into her room slamming the door behind her. "Aki Yuta Dazai! Do not call our baby brother a freak! You're the oldest of us three and you act like an absolute child! You're twenty-nine get out of your phase already!" I yelled to which she responded with a loud groan. I sighed and looked at Oda and Ango who were seated at the counter. "Oda, hold my camera will you? I'm going to see what that boy is doing." Oda nodded, gently taking my camera while I ran up the stairs walking towards Dazai's room. I found him staring at himself in the mirror. "Osamu, it's already 7:15. We have to get there by 7:45, you know this already." I gently said, walking towards Osamu who continued to stare in the mirror. "Hey, what's up with you? You've been waiting for this day since you and Chuuya started dating. This isn't some wedding so stop acting nervous-"
"There'll never be a wedding." He blurted out, finally turning to look my way. "What? What do you mean by that?" I didn't get a response, he only walked towards his bed grabbing his graduation cap. "Let's go. You said so yourself, the ceremony starts at 7:45." He mumbled walking past me and into the hallway. I looked at him weird before shrugging the thought off my shoulders. We drove to the ceremony finding Chuuya on the sidewalk. I parked the car and we all walked to the ginger who was checking his phone. Once he noticed us, well Osamu, his face softened. "Chuuya? Where's Kouyou? Could she not have made it?" I asked to which sighed. "Yeah.. She got caught up with Kyouka and work so.." His voice trailed off, a frown had appeared on my face. She promised she'd be here, Kouyou I'd better talk to you when this ceremony's over. "It's okay if she's not here, we'll be here for you!" I smiled to Chuuya who just returned the smile grabbing Osamu's hand. "Thanks Ikuto! Osamu, we'd best get to our seats." Chuuya said, pulling Osamu inside the gym. I smiled at the two but couldn't shake off the feeling something bad would happen. I guess Oda and Ango sensed distress, both of them grabbing my shoulders. "Calm down, I know you're nervous and probably pissed about what Aki pulled but you have to be there for Osamu and Chuuya." Oda said, Ango nodding his head in agreement. I exhaled, before turning to the both of them and planting a kiss on each of their cheeks. "Right. Got to be there for Osamu and Chuuya." I mumbled under my breath holding bath their hands and walking into the gym to see other parents and the students in their caps and gowns. We took a seat in the middle because that'd be the best spot to take photos and videos while they walked the stage. The thing that popped out to me was seeing Osamu pulling Chuuya away from his seat, they shared a couple of whispers before Osamu successfully pulled Chuuya out of the gym with him. I rose a brow looking around, no one else is going out so what is Osamu doing. After a couple of minutes, Chuuya came storming in. He looked like he was about to cry, what did Osamu tell him? Sooner or later, Osamu walked in but he seemed normal besides the huge slap mark on his left cheek. Something definitely happened because when Chuuya was going to say his valedictorian speech, he sounded defeated. When the ceremony ended, I was going to tell Chuuya to come take pictures with Osamu but he ignored me walking towards his friend, Tachihara. Tachihara also saw how weird Chuuya was acting asking him what's wrong. Chuuya didn't say anything besides saying they should get some food on their way to Tachiharas house. "Wait, you're not going to hang out with Osamu today?" Tachihara asked, and based on Chuuya's reaction he knew not to say anything else. "I don't always need to hang out with him! Let's just get food already!" He yelled grabbing Tachihara by his collar and dragging him as far away as he could from us. I saw Osamu, and when I tell you my heart broke, my heart shattered. Osamu stood there, tears running down his face. "Can we.. Can we leave now?" He asked in between sobs while wiping his tears but they just kept coming. I almost dropped my camera but Ango caught it before it hit the floor. I immediately ran over to Osamu wiping his tears away for him. "Osamu?? What happened?" I asked to which led to more sobbing. He just wrapped his arms around my waist tightly crying into my chest. "I did it.. Ikuto, I broke up with him." My eyes widened. That's why he and Chuuya were acting the way they were. I just sighed hugging him back.
"Oh dear Osamu, what've you done.."

If it wasn't obvious, Oda, Ango, and Ikuto are in a poly relationship and have known each other since they've been five. Ikuto and Aki are Osamu's older siblings Aki being the oldest, Ikuto being the second child, making Osamu the baby. Aki in current timeline is, thirty-three, while Ikuto, Ango and Oda are thirty-two. The kids Ango mentioned are Odas orphans, the three of them adopted all five of them two years into their marriage.
