hi, this is laan.

this is my first time to finish an epistolary novel.

i thought i should stop writing because my time's always limited for it but here i am, writing. because i cannot stop. because i cannot leave this.

so to compromise--i resorted for this, for now--epistolary installments. so i could practice writing dialogues, so that i could still write. even the shortest lines. even a single letter. so that i could still write.

so to you, who didn't stop, you who reached this, thank you. for giving this a chance. and i hope that you will not stop for the things that you love as well. for yourself.

we might even have a hard time deciding what to sacrifice, what to stop, and what to continue, but sometimes, they will just go back to us and embrace us. that instead that we let them go, they will never let go of us. so don't let go, if it's worth it. just take a pause, breathe, take a rest if needed, and take small steps.

walk on your own pace. trust your progress. trust yourself. give yourself the credit it deserves. stop being too hard on yourself. sometimes we only have our selves for our selves. but that's a progress.

just thank you. so much. thank yourself too. because you and yourself deserve it.

aside from epistolary novels, i might post more stories here. because i cannot stop them. so i'll just let it be. i'll just continue to write and let them flow out off of me.

just to share a moment, i also got my certificate of registration from national book development board (nbdb) for being a registered author/writer of the phil.

to you, you are not a side story.

best,
