as Hyosan High School turns into a fast-sinking ship when a science experiment gone terribly wrong results in a virus-induced zombie outbreak
As the entire school starts to sink in the virus,Jung Areum leaves to go out in danger to find Lee Na-yeon

The kids slowly walked downstairs as their way was clear most of the times. Coming to the second floor, there was a zombie so they stayed very quite and then a thunder was heard and the zombie went away, and so they continued their way out
When they went out, they saw a zombie standing there so they hide. Cheong-san wanted to go and lure the zombie but On-jo did not let him, and they decided to go from the little way behind the trees.
The reached a truck there and Dae-su and Joon-Young went under it, and as Cheong-san looked at the zombie in front of him, he froze
It was his mom..
Cheong-san tried to go through the truck to his mom but On-jo pulled him back, making him sit down.
Dae-su and Joon-Young went out, and they started hitting the zombie. Cheong-san couldn't take it and he went to push both of them, and he punched Dae-su a few times while screaming which obviously caught the attention of the zombies
On-jo and Su-hyeok stopped Cheong-san "Eomma!!" Wu-jin and Joon-young stopped as they heard Cheong-san's scream
The zombies were getting closer and most of them already reached the way to mountain, and On-jo somehow managed to get Cheong-san run with her
They reached the top of the mountain and as they were running, Hyo-ryeong lost balance and she fell bad. Ji-min stopped for a second but she ran away, leaving Hyo-ryeong there
Areum saw Hyo-ryeong, and told Nam-ra to hold Na-yeon's hand, which Nam-ra did and Areum ran back to Hyo-ryeong, followed by Wu-jin, and as a zombie was about to attack them, an arrow sliced it "Mi-jin! Hari unnie!" The two of them, and the two boys came and they ran behind the others.
As soon as the group entered the Basketball club "We're screwed.." Na-yeon said in a low tone "Run" Nam-ra said, and everyone was confused but not until a lightning came and appeared the court filled with zombies.
"Holy shit-" Areum cursed, and they ran to a room at the side. As Na-yeon was running, another lighting appeared and she saw the guy she has been wanting to kill so badly
Gwi-nam
She stopped running and her blood boiled as he slowly walked towards them. 'they raped me' Areum's words echoed in her ears and she got even more angry by each of his step.
Areum noticed Na-yeon and quickly ran back to her, pulling her but Na-yeon wasn't going in "Yah Na-yeon let's go!" Na-yeon's eyes were burning, stuck on Gwi-nam who was smirking "I'll kill him!"
Areum somehow managed to pull her inside and the door closed before any zombie could attack them
"Let me go out!! I'll kill that guy!" Na-yeon was more angry than ever, but Areum hugged her tightly "Calm down..its alright.."
Just that hug started to calm her down a bit "We'll kill him together... but calm down for now.." Na-yeon let out a deep breath and hugged back Areum tightly
The atmosphere became silent as no one dared to talk. They sat down, and Na-yeon again sat down on Areum's lap, resting her head on her chest as all of them fell asleep
The next morning, Nam-ra was the first one to wake up, and one by one, all of them woke up
"They're very close.. The smell is even stronger" Nam-ra said, and everyone looked at her except for Joon-Young who sighed "There's no hope.. There's no one coming to save us... We gotta save ourselves"
Areum watched the others, and Na-yeon looked at Areum. Being this close to her, the zombie side of her started to take over and she felt a hunger. She started moving closer to Areum slowly, and Areum looked at her, smiling. She thought Na-yeon wanted to kiss her, so she pecked her lips which bought Na-yeon back to her senses
She looked around, and tears build up in her eyes and she started shivering "I-i wanted to... I wanted to b-bite you Areum.." Everyone looked at Na-yeon who looked at Areum with tearful eyes
She hugged her tightly as she broke down in tears "I-i was gonna hurt you..." Areum carassed her hair, she felt so helpless seeing Na-yeon in that state "it's alright.."
"A-Areum... Help me... I d-don't wanna be like this.... I don't wanna h-hurt you..." Her voice cracked as she sobbed in Areum's arms
"You'll be alright.. You and Nam-ra... You both will be fine... Nothing with happen to you..." Areum said, as a tear escaped her eye when she thought about the fact that she actually can't do anything
She didn't had a way to get out of this situation, she didn't had a way to save her love and her closest friend from turning into some monsters.. She didn't had a way to make anything alright no matter how though she acted, from inside
She was helpless...
