Harry's POV

As much as I didn't want to be, I was now sitting in  my fourth hour class right now. The class period was almost done, which means lunch was next. On any given day I would be counting down the seconds until lunch, but not today. Lunch is one of the few times I get to see Louis at school, normally I'd be excited about this. Not today though, I was not looking forward to facing him. I was scared about what he might say, and I didn't want anything to be awkward. When tell bell rang to dismiss for lunch I took my time getting my things and walking to my locker. The longer I take getting to lunch means I am less likely to run into Louis right?

Ha! Oh how wrong I was. Because what is the first thing I see when I approach my locker? Yeah, Louis was there waiting for me. Well there goes that.. I debated what I should do. I could either try and ignore him if he talks, or I could turn around and not out my things away and just keep them by me. Before I could even reach a decision Louis looked up from his phone and sees me. Shit

"Hey Harry." I push past him ignoring him as I did, trying to get to my locker that way I can hurry up and get to lunch. "Oh come on Harry, please I just want to talk."

" Talk? Ha about what, huh? How you were a bitch and yelled at me last week for doing something I thought was good for you? Nah I'm fine. Now if you can't tell I am trying to get so!e good I you would leave me alone please that would be great. "  I didn't mean to snap at him, I didn't even mean the things I said, well not completely anyway. I I'm all honesty if I was him, probably would have had a similar reaction.

"No. Well yes but not just about that Harry."

" is it that important it can't wait until later? " this time I replied in a softer tone.

"Kinda yeah. "

"Well" I was trying to think of an excuse on why I couldn't talk right now but honestly I didn't have a good ome. "Fine then, let's get food first please."

"Ok yeah. I'm pretty hungry actually."

We got our lunch and found a table in the far corner of the lunchroom. When we sat down Louis immediately started to talk.

"Ok look I wanted to apologize for how I reacted the other day. And I kind of owe you an explanation... So I just need you to hear me out, ok?"

" alright, i!I'm listening. "

"Ok so it all started there years ago. You remember Sam right?"

" Yeah, the tall one on your team. You used to be really good friends right? "

"Yeah, him. Anyway three years ago after practice one day we were sitting in the locker room. We were just having a random conversation, he started saying how he was gonna go to a party and find a chick, and get laid, well he asked me when the last time I had gotten laid was. Well I told him two things. One, I would never do something like that. Two, I well i, told him something I now really regret and I don't even know why I told him. I should have told you this, I mean you are my best friend not him, I just was afraid to ruin our friendship or that you would hate me. I know now though that I didn't need to worry about it."

" Ok? What was it Louis? And what does it have to do with the crap that happened last week? "

"Well I told him  that I didn't just like girls.. Well he didn't take that too well. He told me that if I didn't start going out with Jessica he'd out me to the entire school. I was to scared at that time, and to be honest I am scared now too. But I agreed."

" so what you're telling me is he forced you into a relationship with her, because he is a homophobic piece of shit? "

"Well yeah. And I am really sorry I never told you Harry, I honestly am.  But the first person I ever came out to reacted like that, and it scared me to tell anyone else, you know?"

" Yeah, I understand. I'm really sorry that happened to you Lou. Is that why you got so pissed when I made her break up with you? You were scared Sam was gonna find out and that he would tell everyone? "

"Yeah.."

" I'm sorry, I had no clue. I was just trying to look out for you, I just want what is best for you. "

"Thank you Harry. You mean a lot to !e you know that right?"

" Thanks Lou, you mean a lot to me too. "

"Can we put this shit behind us, and not let stuff like that to happen anymore?"

" Yeah. "Bye
