Aaliya finally recieved permission from her boss in Liverpool. She can go to India for a year.
Jack was a wonderful man with whom could always talk about everything. When, two days ago, she recieved approval to go she was in the clouds. She had so much to do and so little time. Aaliya had so many plans for India that she was afraid she wouldn't be able to finish everything in one year. She went home to pack all she needed. She had a flight for few hours and had so many things to do.
Aaliya lived alone in a suburb of Liverpool. The only daughter of her parents who didn't made their dreams come true. She hasn't done what they wanted and her father never accepted it well. He was engaged in various jobs and almost never home. Her mother was a housewife. She took care of the family. So much time has passed since the last time she heard laughter or song in the family house. For just one day their life is changed. Aaliya didn't want to go to say goodbye. She knew that they don't care where is she or what she's doing.
Aaliya was given the address of the police station in Mumbai and the name of her partner. Zain. She was told that he's the only Zain there and everyone will know when she says the name. Her friends Aysha and Jessica and partner John were with her at the airport. They came to say goodbye. All of them hugged, kissed and wished a safe journey to her. Finally she was leaving UK and going to see the country from where her parents came.
In Mumbai was waiting a ready apartment, a warm bed and a fridge full of food. She loved food. She could spend all day just eating.
At the airport in Mumbai welcomed her her new boss, Anushka. She was holding paper with Aaliya's name. Aaliya smiled. Such warm welcome.
"Good afternoon."- said Aaliya. "Are you Anushka Malhotra?"
"Yes. And you must be Aaliya Haider?
"
"Yup. It's me."- Aaliya smiled.
"Welcome, Aaliya. The driver will carry your bags. Come with me."
They went in a car.
"Aaliya, I know you're tired and I won't strain you with business now. Let's go from here to your apartment. You need rest. In the morning your personal driver will wait for you. He will be at your service until you get to know the city."
"Thank you. At what time to be at work?"
"Since it's your first day I don't expect you in early morning. Is 9 am OK? We normally start work at 7:30 am."
"Yeah. Nine is fine."
"See you than in the morning Aaliya. Take rest."
"Of course. Thanks. See you."
Finally some peace. Aaliya showered and went to sleep. It was only when she went to bed she realized how actually tired she is. She needed sleep.
