The library in the day was a whole different story. Turns out, the ceiling was made of glass panels, which allowed the daylight to filter to the entire place. Students came and went, filling up the study tables in the center of each floor, quiet murmurs of chatter dancing in the air. That's how Korem found himself researching in the same books from yesterday, when two students sat across the table.

"I'm telling you, we'll get an extension, stop fuzzing!" the guy said.

"I'm not taking chances. We're not even sure it's an official suspension," the girl replied, pulling out several books from her bag and setting them on the table.

"How can it not? I mean, a royal visit sounds pretty official to me,"

"They haven't finished the preparations; the banners aren't even set up yet. Chances are she canceled or postponed,"

"Nah, Daniel told me he and the guys are setting up later,"

"Excuse me," Korem interrupted them from across the table "What visit are you talking about?"

"The princess visit, dude," the guy replied, "Yesterday the rector announced she was coming tomorrow,"

"Oh, guess I missed. Being locked up in the dorm lately," Korem replied confidently.

"I know how it is. Anyway, big royal visit tomorrow and this girl thinks we're actually presenting the project, can you believe her?" the guy grimed, and his friend scowled back at him.

"In that case, I can probably take a break," Korem said, standing up and setting the books he'd been using back in their place. "Thanks for the tip,"

"Sure thing dude, see you around," said the guy, before turning back to his companion and opening one of her books.

He made a quick stop by the cafeteria to buy more food, before going back to the camp. Sel had several vials and herbs splayed across the ground when he arrived, tongue lightly sticking out in concentration as she mixed various ingredients.

"You're back early," she said, without taking her eyes of her work.

"I bring food and news," he replied, waving the bags he carried.

"Food first." she stated, and cleaned her work up as he placed the picnic setting.

"So, spill," she said, taking her food container from Korem.

"Ilio's coming tomorrow"

"Oh." was all she said, stopping her fork midair "That's not ideal,"

"I know, that's why I came. Figured we should leave earlier than planned," he explained, taking his own container.

"We need the vehicle, like, need it. We're not leaving without it."

"I know; not particularly excited about walking for weeks," he snorted.

"Ughh, we'll need to sneak in now," she groaned, and he raised an inquisitive eyebrow at her.

"Can't you just... appear it here?" he asked confused.

"Can't, too big. Need to mark it like the tent" she replied, stuffing more food on her mouth.

"Then...can't you appear there instead and do it?"

She closed her eyes and frowned, opening her eyes again moments later, thoughtful expression in place.

"What?" Korem inquired.

"I can't get in. It feels like... I don't know, a barrier?"

"But yesterday you got in..." Korem noted.
