I must be dreaming

So, in Mal's date Ben said he was taking her to the enchanted lake. It was a pretty little place, you can go swimming, like Ben does or go on a picnic, like myself and Freya, or myself and Ben do. There was nothing out of the ordinary about him taking her there. When he'd gotten back it still had been before my date with Jay, since it would've been way before my date.

Ben's POV

After telling my sister where I was taking her sister, we got on my "bike" so more or less like a motorcycle. We came cross a bridge. I turned to her and said.... So tell me something about yourself you've never told anyone? She told me her middle name was Bertha. OMG, that was so bad. Florian I said to her. That's my middle name. She laughed at that, thinking that was almost as bad, maybe worse.

Then I had her cover her eyes as I took her hand, making her trust me to lead her to our special spot. We got into a boat, to get over to the little spot that I'd set up a picnic for. I tried to ask her if this was her first time eating a jelly donut, she thought I was asking her about dating. I used my thumb to wipe the sugar off her lips. It was almost like being with my sister, except I love Mal in a totally different way.

So, like I've done all the talking, its your turn, I don't really know you all that well yet, as much as you probably are really like your sister. So tell me so stuff about yourself. Well, I'm 16, up until recently I thought I was an only child, and I've only ever lived in one place my entire life. Wow, we have so much in common. I said to her.

After I explained to her why we had so much in common and how we choose our path, I said to her. We're not our parents, we choose who we're gonna be, and I can look in your eyes and I can tell that you're not evil. None of you, your mother was right about Farrah, but she was wrong about you. You can be whoever you want to be. We don't have to be our parents.

I tried to pull her away to go swimming, but she wouldn't get up, she said she was staying to try more food, I laughed and disappeared behind a rock to change into my swim trunks. She is so much like my, or her sister, she never wants to go swimming. So, usually I just pull her in. I roar like our dad and pull her under, and she giggles trying to pull away, when we get back we come home soaked, and mom playfully scolding us at being soaked.

I walk to a top rock, and roar jumping into the water, something washed off of me, but it still doesn't change how I feel about Mal, spell or no spell, I can be with someone who I actually love instead of for my image. I swim around and hear her start singing.

Mal' POV

Ben brought me to a picnic on our date, it was so much fun, I was telling him how we don't date on the Isle, and then he was wiping powder of my lips. He said we had a lot in common and then explained how we weren't our parents. I didn't have the heart to tell him that his sister wants to be just like me, and make our mother see that she was evil, to make her proud just like I wanted, IDK if he knows that, but she feels like no one wants her here, that no one cares about her, that she wants to go home with us.

He tries to get me to go swimming with him, but I'm not gonna admit that I can't swim, I'm sure that would sound silly. He changes into his swim trunks and they have little crowns on them, he jumps off the rock roaring and jumps in. As I giggle starting to sing

then I call out for him, but he doesn't appear. I get scared, I start walking into the water starting to feel like I'm gonna drown and that's when Ben comes up. He carries me back to the piece of land. You can't swim? He asks me. But you live on an Isle? Yeah, but with a barrier around it remember?! I ask him.
