Mina was just laying on her bed. Her husband comes home early to see that she was just on her phone.

"Hon? Have you eaten yet?"

Mina completely ignores him as she grips on her phone trying to fight the urge to call you once again.

She was getting impatient wanting to meet you already clouding her judgment.

"Hey if it's about last night, I'm really s-"

Mina looks at her husband before interrupting him with a blunt question that startled the man.

"Why did you agree to marry me?"

He looks away with Mina being observant. She saw how he gulped nervously clearing his throat before answering.

Money? Power? Fame?

So many questions go through her head but the answer Mina never expected left her own husband's mouth.

"Because I always wanted a family, someone to take care of. See a little kid running around, I'm not forcing you to have kids with me if you don't want to but just know I married you because I wanted to. I don't want to force you into anything you're not comfortable with"

Just like she thought, it was all about children.

Is this what they call pure romance?

"I was forced to marry you; I believe you know that already"

He nodded his head trying to understand what Mina was implying by this.

"If you had the choice to say no even though you knew I was forced, why didn't you? For the sake of having children? Someone you can take care of?"

Mina laughs bitterly, unable to stay in the same room as her husband anymore she leaves in her casual clothes unconsciously dialing your number.

Mina

You

Mina?

Mina tries to stop crying as she hears your voice but it has the opposite effect for her.

Are you crying? What happened? Are you hurt?

Oh the worry you had laced on your questions, Mina couldn't help but hide her face ignoring the stares from some people as she walked mindlessly not knowing where to go.

Meet me Y/N, please

The way Mina pleaded in a desperate manner left you without any second thoughts as you ran out of your house with just your phone.

Where are you?

Mina looks at the building near her to see the same cafe she met you in for the first time in five years.

C-café

You immediately knew where she was as you ran even if your lungs were hurting from running so far already.

You don't care if you shove people out of your way, your mind is only laced with thoughts and worry about the same woman who left you alone five years ago.

Once you arrived breathless you saw Mina waiting outside still crying. She didn't know why she was crying in the first place.

Hurt? Disappointed?

There were too many emotions that she couldn't even understand but that one emotion when you tackled her into a hug.

It was like Mina's heart stopped the moment you hugged her tightly.

"I'm here"

As you spoke Mina then realizes that she met you in the same cafe before, finally recognizing you.

"Y/N?"

Her hoarse voice made you chuckle as you continued to hug her, unable to pass this moment. Not wanting to let her go afraid she might leave again.

"I'm here Mina, cry it out"

Mina hides her face on your shoulder as she cries her heart out ignoring the people that were walking by giving them weird glances.

"Are you okay now?"

You gave Mina a glass of water after entering your house while the latter nodded, hiding her face out of embarrassment.

You met her in this state, Mina couldn't help but feel shy about it just like the time when you made the silly promise of making her your wife. Her heart was about to explode at this point from beating too fast.

"Y-yeah, thank you"

You blushed at how Mina was acting, feeling so giddy all of a sudden as you sat down across from her.

"So...."

You both couldn't even make eye contact with each other prompting Mina to clear her throat as she mustered up the courage to speak.

"I'm sorry"

You were confused as to why Mina was apologizing because you thought she was apologizing because she was crying for a long time but as she continued you slowly understood what she meant.

"For leaving you, I didn't want to and I tried fighting so I got married against my will and at first, I thought I could live normally like the rest, I thought I was happy with my marriage but the memories stayed with me almost every year that passed by and every time it happened. I was too much of a coward to call you, I didn't leave you a proper explanation and I won't even be surprise if you hate me now but I'm still the same old me who is deeply in love with you and I know it's wrong, I have a husband I should be happy but can I really love someone who I can't even see a future with? I'm so pathetic trying to explain everything so late but I know by the time I get to talk to you, it might be the last time"

You had the same thoughts as Mina but what surprised you the most was about her husband.

They look so happy

It felt like it was similar to your relationship with Jeongyeon. In everyone's eyes you would look like a happy couple or a really close friend but behind closed doors it was as messy as it can get.

Speaking of Jeongyeon, her driver once again knocks on your front door telling the same old thing that made you tell Mina the biggest question you can ever ask before the driver outside of your front door gets suspicious of what was happening.

"Mina, what do you think about running away from here right now? Just us two"
