Joesph Spencer/Johnson- POV
*Past*
I knew that she was going to ask me, why I did what I did. And I knew I was going to have to tell her. I told her everything how, it all started when my girlfriend broke up with me, and that it wasn't supposed to go on, but then I started making money and one day I wasn't thinking and I attacked a guy when he ripped me off when I was buying drugs from him. I also told her that I was going to fix my life when I get out, like dad fixed his. I knew she would say, "Thanks for telling me the truth, but now that you told me I never want to see you ever again", "So don't come looking for me when you get out of jail". But she didn't say that...
She said,"You will always be my brother, and I used to think you weren't, I thought that you were some messed up teenager, who ruined his life, but you didn't you only hit an obstacle, and now you're over coming it." "Don't be like Brittia, and say you're going to do something and not do it." Fix your life, and when you're done, come visit me at this address." "Okay?"
I said, "Okay."
"You have to promise me that you will come visit me, and fix your life. Promise?", she asks.
"I promise", I said.
"Goodbye, and see you soon", she says.
"Goodbye", I say.
As I watch her walk away, I feel like I'm a different person. I feel like I just fixed part of my life. I would visit her, because I promised her. And one thing you'll learn about me is, I ALWAYS KEEP MY PROMISES. I looked down at the address, and thought to myself, once I get out this will be the first place I will go...
