I shared Jackie's story with the authorities, because I thought they should know about it. She shouldn't have to live with her mom when her mom smokes and drinks, her mom simply just can't take care of her. Jackie has had a really tough life growing up. The only one she ever felt safe with was her dad, and when he died her life started getting worse, and finally I was tired of watching her suffer. That's why I told the authorities, and because I care a lot about Jackie, just like she was my own daughter.
I've known Jackie for 15 years now. I met her when she was three, because her dad brought her into my clinic, saying something was wrong with his child. There was something wrong with Jackie, she had mental issues, because her mother Brittia was drinking when she was pregnant with Jackie. Jackie deserves some love in her life. And I hope she finds some in that special care center in New Jersey. She deserves it. Good luck Jackie!
