Chapter Thirty Three: The Battle

The crackling, snapping sounds of spells firing from all sides roars though the air, engulfing you as you're pushed further into the castle, the sheer volume of the attacks,  overwhelm you, glass shattering cutting your face, the world as you know it been blown away, little by little. 

"DUCK!!" You hear a shout, you do so only to find a death eater behind you blown out of the window. 

"Jade!" You look at her relieved. 

"We need some help, down the front" she pants.

"Come one then, what are we waiting for" George fires a spell off blasting another death eater into oblivion before grabbing Jades had and running, you and Fred following. As you reach the steps, you find yourself bumping into the golden trio, clearly on a mission unable to get away. 

"Reducto!" You fire another, as you're all back towards the stone walls, by a troll and several death eaters.

"I need to get to the boathouse" Harry yells at you and you nod, firing more spells as a group of spiders come up beside you.

"Left!" you fire another spell. 

"Left at the second courtyard, theres secret passage, leads you right there" Fred says, bumping into you, you're back to back fighting off Voldemort's Army. 

"Thank you" Harry nods, before the tree run off, you blasting protection spells over them until they were out of reach. Its then you feel an awful sensation crawl above you. 

"You're needed, the Dark Lord wanted to be reborn, and reborn he shall be." A weasily voice came up to you all, the Minister of Magic and two death eaters trudged forwards pointing his wand at you "We'll need your baby" he raises his wand. 

"Over my dead body" you instantly felt like you might faint at Fred's choice of words but as another death eater flanked you on his side, but before you could spiral into despair Percy thew a curse at the minister.

"Hello, Minister!" the former prefect walked over, sending another neat jinx straight at Thicknesse, who dropped, to everyones pleasure, his wand and clawed at the front of his robes, in awful discomfort "did I mention I'm resigning?"

"You're joking, Perce!" shouted Fred as the Death Eater he was battling collapsed under the weight of three separate Stunning Spells. George, walks over, also marvelling as you all watch Thicknesse fall to the ground with tiny spikes erupting all over him; he seemed to be turning into some form of sea urchin. Fred looked at Percy with glee.

"You actually are joking, Perce. I don't think I've heard you joke since you were. . . "

"NOOOOO!!!" a scream echoed though your ears but you can't place it, you're not even sure its real as the air explode, you'd been grouped to gather, almost in a line, You, Fred, George, Jade and Percy. It felt like you were reliving a dream, the dream you'd told the others felt so real and now you were having it again. Two death eaters, exactly as you had foreseen, one stunned, the other transfigured just as the world came to an end, and explosion, a flash of light, and within seconds of the scream you felt yourself flying through the air, unable to stop yourself, unable to see where you were going, like time had stopped. It was happening, you were sure. I felt like forever until the world started moving in real time again, you gasped, as if waking up from being drowned only to find yourself  half buried in the wreckage. You heard your name but couldn't focus, you feel the cold air, the side of the castle you'd been protecting had been blown away. You felt the trickle of blood as the wind blew once more across your face, your name being called again and again. 

"Y/N!!! Y/N can you hear me?!" You vaguely came round to the sound of Fred's voice, as he and Percy pulled you from the wreckage. 

"Freddie?" you put a hand to his face as you slowly come around "Freddie" he helps you stand, as you stumble out the wreckage. Thats when you see it, thats when you see her. "Jade." You let out a whisper "Jade!" You say again louder as you and Fred stumble towards where George was kneeled down next to Jade, holding her hand. "No,no, no!" No! Fred! Do something please, No!"
