CONFUSED!

The Hospital Room

I wake up with a splitting headache. "Ah!" I said in pain. I opened my eyes and sat up. I gazed at the needle in my left wrist and the bandage on my right arm. I lifted the sheets up and saw bandages on both my legs. "Why am I in hospital. Why can't I remember what happened ?" I said to myself. A lot of questions stared rushing through my head and a few seconds later I was screaming in pain! My head felt like someone was hitting it with a hammer and my body felt like I just got hit by a speeding truck. The nurse ran into the room and tried to calm me down but it wasn't working so she injected me with something that made me fall of to sleep instantly.

About 10 minutes later

"What happened to her?" I heard a female voice say.
"She has lost her memory, it may never come back. You can't tell her anything about her past life." Said the doctor.
I was still a little drowsy from the shot so I'm not sure if I heard right or not.
"How are you feeling?" Said the woman that was talking to the doctor as she sat on the chair next to the hospital bed.
"Who are you and why am I here?" I said in a soft tone.
"I'm your mother."
"You are her because... well..."
"You were at school and you were helping with the decorations for next week's dance. The cloths caught on fire, you got burnt and hit your head." A girl said as she walked Into the room. She looked about 17 years old.
"Oh Ok... Who are you? Who am I? I don't remember anything..."

"I'm your sister, Serena, I'm 19 years old. We have a younger sister, Mona, who is turning 16."

"Can you tell me more about myself?"

Before Serena could say anything the doctor came in and said "May I please speak with the patients family?" My mom and sister walked out of the room.

"I have just received the results for the tests we conducted. I'm afraid that it was not the fall that caused her too lose her memory. She has a very rare tumour in her brain which cannot be removed. It may or may not grow. It all depends on how she treats herself. Whatever you tell her about her about herself she will believe, meaning if you tell her she speaks Dutch, she will automatically be able to speak the language. Here is the list of medicines she must take and when she has to take them."

Serena walked back into the room. "Mom is going to get some food for you" She said. "What did the doctor say? I'm going to be fine right?"
"Yeah you are absolutely fine. The doctor just gave us a list of the medicine you have to take for pain and the burns."
"Oh Ok, when can I come home? This bed is really uncomfortable."
"We going to go now" Serena said and helped me to my feet. I changed into a light floral dress that she had brought for me and we were on our way...
