Before you knew it, you were standing in a big empty building in Nevada Central. Again. The echoes inside the empty building felt like cold slaps on your heart, reminding you of the precious bonds you lost with your hirelings over the 1st imprint. Now it was time to start anew.

At least this time your memories remained. The second imprint was a success. Doc made sure of that. Now that you know what to do it should take half the time to enmesh the Mandatus.

You ran your first missions solo. Putting more effort into gun training than physics. You didn't feel like spending lot's of time and energy on building strength since you'll loose this body anyway. Focusing on firearms and technique will save you lot's of time throughout the whole journey. You had to value time since the longer you stayed HERE, the bigger the toll on your body THERE.

At some point you couldn't proceed solo anymore. You HAD to hire some henchmen. You were putting it off since you arrived. You were too heartbroken to deal with new people around you.

When Bossaman gave you the list of all possible candidates, you skipped everyone, looking for familiar names in the lists... Of course they were no longer there...

After Bossman pressured you to finally hire some people, you reluctantly agreed.

Now you had a squad of 6. Half of what you had the 1st time. Your relationship with them was purely work oriented. You didn't want to get attached. You couldn't since you'd loose them too anyway.

As time went by, your organization and influence grew over Nevada Central.

After 6 months you were approaching the Big Day. You already acquired the necessary tech for the enmeshment engine. All that was left was to run some bounties for the money. You were saving up for dissonance weaponry to deal with Grand Steward.

A mysterious entrepreneur hired you to wipe out one of the smaller Nexus Core facilities on the outskirts of the city. Nothing you couldn't handle on your own but you took your squad anyway.

The helicopter ride was short. As you approached you saw a familiar looking truck that was smashed against a wall. Upon closer inspection you notice 2 dead agents sticking between the wall and the vehicle. The bodies were fresh.

"Someone's ahead of us." You warn the squad.

2 of your hirelings pry the door open and you storm inside. You were welcomed by already dead agents scattered across the hallways. Agents who missed limbs, heads, Even Intestines!

This was out of the ordinary. Even for you. Must be a rival gang trying to scare us and snatch the bounty money off your hands.

You gotta hurry! You command to split in 2 groups and rush the area to find the culpits. It was a big building. You followed the trail of dead bodies till 5th floor and started to hear gunshots and voices from above. "Must be the rival gang" "We might 3rd party them!"

You sign for the squad to regroup as you waited for the shots to die down. As your 2nd group was making their way up, one of your henchmen tripped on a dead body and made a huge bang on the floor. All of you are stunned by the sound of the ruined element of surprise.

"IT MUST BE OUR REINFORCEMENTS" One of the men cheered. "Reinforcements?" your squad shot each other questioning looks.

Upon peeking up, you were met with the eyes of A.A.H.W agents that looked like they trapped something behind a door. Both of the parties didn't expect to see eachotehr and before you knew it, a gunfire broke out.

Clearing them out wasn't difficult as they were already exhausted from their previous fight with whatever was on the other side of the door.

After a brief pause to reload, the plan was to let the technicians open the door and throw a flashbang so your squad can rush and check the situation on the other side.

The door was hacked open, a flashbang goes off and you rush inside.

What you find is a battered body, laying on the floor against one of the desks holding a detonator, attached to a makeshift explosive his chest.

It was Hank.

"HAAALT!!!" You yell at the top of your lungs to stop both parties.

You swear you expected to be blown to pieces by now but were surprisingly still intact.

A dead silence follows from both parties. All of you were frozen in the door with you blocking the entrance with wide open arms.

You look down to Hank who's abdomen were filled with bullet holes.

"Hank! WTH are you doing here???!" You yell at the half dead looking man.

"... Not your business" He brushed you off, lowering the detonator on the ground.

"Nexus is My turf, didn't Doc tell you?!"

"I don't care. A.A.H.W was here."

You were furious. This was a new sight for your hirelings. You and Hank argue for a while. You thought what to do with the bastard. Sitting there and bleeding out. How ironic. You could leave him to bleed out or finish him yourself. You got a different idea instead.

"You're going with me." You say in a calmer tone as you cross your arms, looking down on the man.
