A/N: This has absolutely nothing to do with the original plot of the story, it's simply just a special to celebrate Valentine's Day. Happy Valentines Day to everyone! ❤️
I was sitting at home, reading a book while drinking some rose tea I had made, waiting for my small chocolate cakes to be done in the over so I can put hot fudge on top and make lava cakes.
Why was I doing this? Well... Akaashi wanted to check up on me on Valentine's Day, since it's usually never a good time for me. For some reason, my depression gets worse. And this year, Akaashi's coming over. But not alone.
Oh no. When Bokuto found out about Akaashi finally coming over to my house, he just had to tag along, bringing Kuroo Tetsurou and Kozume Kenma to my house as well.
Normally, I'd have a problem with this since my house is kinda small and I'm not good around people. But for Akaashi, an exception was made.
So here I am at 8 in the morning- baking lava cakes for myself and four boys on Valentine's Day. Never in my life, would I have ever imagined something like this would happen.
I even decided to get into the spirit of this holiday by reading some romance novels, immediately regretting it the moment smut parts appeared. So I just sat for a while reading fan fictions on Wattpad. Some were actually really cute, fluff was definitely the best at showing agape love. Some did have smut, but I guess that was to be expected. And then, angst. I cried for an hour straight at some of that. It was also kinda relatable... considering, well, ya know.
I thought it would be a good idea to have romance movies available in case the guys wanted to watch... well movies or animes. Romcom animes like Kaguya-sama felt right today. I honestly don't know what the guys would like, I'm kinda just winging it. Do guys even like romance movies? Do they watch?
I honestly have no clue, but I'm too embarrassed to ask Akaashi about it.The moment I heard the oven go off, I damn near threw my book across the room and ran to the kitchen. I took the heart-shaped cakes out, smiling at how well they seemed to have turned out.
I took the hot fudge off the stove and poured them onto the cakes, allowing some to roll down the sides and onto the plate. I made sure there wasn't a mess, frantically running around to clean up.
And then the doorbell rang, making me almost drop the pot I had made the fudge with. I quickly and carefully put it on the counter. I ran to the door, almost tripping over everything and nothing. I opened the door with a slight small on my face.
"Welcome! Happy Valentine's Day! Please, come in." I loved away from the door to let the four guys come in.
They walked in, all greeting me with smiles and returning my "Happy Valentine's Day."
Bokuto had immediately smelled the lava cakes' aroma in the air. "Ooh! What smells so good, Y/n?!"
"I made lava cakes. They're in the kitchen, I can go get them."
"I'll help." Akaashi smiled, coming with me to the kitchen. He helped me carry the lava cakes to everyone, who had already made themselves comfy on my couch.
There was no room left for me and Akaashi, so we had to sit on the loveseat I had been curled up on most of the morning. (For those that may not know, a loveseat is just a smaller couch, usually made for two people)
Akaashi smiled at me, chuckling lightly. "Did you already have plans to cuddle?" He joked, noticing my extremely fluffy blanket that was somehow neatly laid on the loveseat.
I blushed, embarrassed that I hadn't moved it. "That's not- I was just lying here earlier..." I looked at the ground, too embarrassed to even try to look at Akaashi.
