After Thomas Shelby seized control of the Shelby family business, Birmingham was never the same again. What had once been a razor gang dismissed as backstreet trash dragged itself into legitimacy and rebranded as Shelby Company Limited - a name polished enough for contracts and respected business owners, though still stained with blood beneath the ink. Billy Kimber was dead, the North had folded, and the Peaky Blinders were done thinking small. London would be next.

The capital promised everything Tommy understood - money that moved like tides, alliances that shifted without warning, and enemies who would smile warmly while calculating where to place the knife. It was a city dressed in silk and pearls, but built on the same violence as Birmingham, only better hidden. Tommy entered it prepared for war. He expected resistance. He expected blood. He did not expect her.

Liliana Morelli arrived in his life not with noise, but with precision. Italian, composed, and far too intelligent to be underestimated, she carried herself like a woman who had never been denied anything and never intended to be. From the moment their paths crossed, something altered in the balance of power, though neither of them would admit it. Tommy was a man forged from ambition and iron discipline, someone who understood control as instinctively as breathing. Feeling, however, was a language he had long ago taught himself to forget. People like him did not build futures around tenderness. Love was weakness. Trust was a liability. In their world, mistakes were paid for in blood.

London itself belonged to two reigning powers. Alfie Solomons held Camden and the docks with theatrical chaos and unpredictable brutality, his humour often disguising calculation. Darby Sabini, by contrast, ruled from velvet rooms and polished tables, surrounded by men who feared him too much to speak freely. Police chiefs knew his name. Judges recognised his face. Politicians pretended not to see him at all.

To Sabini, Birmingham was mud, the North was filth and the Peaky Blinders were nothing more than gypsy opportunists who had mistaken luck for destiny. Thomas Shelby, in his eyes, was uncultured, too ambitious for his own good and foolish enough to believe London would allow him space at its table. That belief made him dangerous. Sabini had destroyed men like him before, usually with bullets, sometimes with knives. But this time, he chose something subtler. Something slower. He chose to let rot spread from the inside. So he sent Liliana.

Her task was simple: gain access, earn trust, and dismantle Thomas Shelby from within his own empire.
Sabini knew her capabilities well. He had watched powerful men fall apart under her attention in the past, seen them trade reason for desire, loyalty for illusion.
But what he failed to consider was that the Peaky Blinders never bent for anyone. They did not beg. And they did not ask for permission - ever. If they took a liking to something, they claimed it, even by force if necessary.

Because once you become a Shelby woman, you remain one... or you die as one.

This is a story of ambition colliding with desire, of loyalty tested against temptation, and of two people standing on opposite sides of a war neither of them fully understand.
Because in Birmingham and in London love is never just love. It is weakness. And it is the most dangerous weapon of all. Because there is only one thing that could blind a man as smart as Tommy Shelby.

Love.
