Finn doesn't end up eating more than half the donut, due to the fact that a sign through the other doorway declares that the food at the bake sale is made "by spiders, for spiders, of spiders".

They suddenly feel like a terrible person. They don't want to hurt the frog's feelings, though, so they stash the other half of their donut in their backpack and continue on.

They find the next pile of dust in a rather unexpected place. They stumble upon a very big room with six different human-sized holes in its floor, and after exploring these somewhat they catch a glimpse of what appears to be a pile of white sand down below. Finn sets the dummy aside and hops carefully through the hole - it's not very deep at all - and finds themself in a curious little room filled with red leaves, with a ladder up against the wall leading back to the floor above. There is indeed a dust pile down here, so Finn pulls their mask back over their face and touches it gently with a finger.

This monster looks exactly like a giant carrot with a friendly face, and unlike all the previous monsters, it doesn't immediately run away. (That being said, Finn honestly isn't sure if it's even able to run away.) It just kinda sits there and stares genially at Finn, blinking.

"Hi," Finn offers.

"Plants Can't Talk Dummy," the carrot replies in a strange croaky voice.

Finn hears a snigger from above and looks up to see their frog friend looking down at them through the hole in the ceiling. Unable to grin back at it due to the mask, Finn looks back down at the carrot, which is now spawning random vegetables around the room by some kind of strange magic.

"Part Of A Complete Breakfast," the carrot assures them. "Fresh Morning Taste. Eat Your Greens."

"I think it's delirious," Finn observes. But they gather up some of the vegetables from around the room anyways. After all, though their parents told them it was wrong to accept candy from strangers, they hadn't said anything about vegetables. And Finn is starving.

They pat the monster on its spiky head before leaving. "Thanks!!"

"Ate Your Greens," it mutters contentedly, before digging itself into the ground so only its top shows sticking out.

Finn climbs out of the hole and explores all the other holes in the floor in hopes of finding some more monsters, but only find two more piles of dust, both of which transform into carrot creatures and do and say pretty much the exact same things. That being said, Finn hadn't thought that things like talking carrots even existed, so they're excited all the same. They pick up all the magic food the monsters give them and stash it in their backpack for safe keeping (the backpack is getting awfully heavy at this point).

They take a short break to sit and eat some of the vegetables, holding the dummy and sharing the stash with the magic frog, which seems to have a liking for corn on the cob (that's a fruit, not a vegetable, just so everyone knows by the way - LOOKING AT YOU, VEGETOID).

You are... not like the other human children I know, the voice says vaguely.

"Yay, I'm weird," Finn rejoices. The frog just shakes its head, like I don't even know anymore.

No, I mean... The voice pauses, frustrated. Who are you?

"Who are you?" Finn shoots back to empty air. "I didn't ask to have any voice in my head always telling me to do the things. Though it's awesome having you all the same," they add as an afterthought, not wanting to be unkind.

The frog is frowning at them. Finn is torn between wanting and not wanting to know what is going on inside its head.

"So, Mr. Frog," they address the animal. The voice, as usual, doesn't respond to their questions. "You going to explain what's going on? What's with all the dust? What is this place?"
