FRIDAY
Sitting on my bed, I watched as Bethany and Trinity twirled in their newly bought dresses. They were happy and it made me feel good. Both of them looked absolutely beautiful in their dresses and definitely would have all eyes on them.

"Bell, get ready. We're gonna have to leave soon." Bethany glanced over at me, "I don't think they'll let you in wearing pajamas."

"Good thing I wasn't planning on going." I responded laying down, "You two will have more fun without me going anyways."

Without warning Trinity began jumping on the bed next to me, "You need to come. Travis has nonstop been asking about you. I'm not going to be the one who tells him you aren't going."

Shoving her down, I shook my head. Picking up my phone I clicked open the messages between Travis and I. Glancing over at Trinity I wanted her to know that I was messaging him.

"No." Bethany snatched the phone from my hands, "You are not canceling on anyone. Especially not us. Come on, it'll be really fun. We'll dance, flirt with people we don't care to even talk to, and just have a night that we'll remember for the rest of our lives."

"And after the dance we can go get some food." Trinity chimed in, "You can't turn down food."

Looking between the two of them I shrugged, "Is this a bad time to tell you I have an eating disorder and really hate fun?" My voice was clearly soaked with sarcasm, "And I was going to call my Uncle Steve when you left. I wanna talk to him about my Dad."

For a second they both seemed to be rethinking, "Nope." Bethany shook her head, "You can't use your Dad card on us. He'll still be there tomorrow so you can definitely go out and have fun now."

"It's your first school dance." Trinity added, "I'm sure everyone will understand."

Chewing on the inside of my cheek I quickly had to think of another lie, "I can't just leave my sisters here alone. Penelope won't be back until a lot later and they aren't old enough to stay here alone. I think, to be responsible, I need to stay here. You two can go ahead without me and just let me know if anything happens."

As they both glared at me the door opened. Glancing over, aunt Penelope stood with a gift bag and box in her arms. Shaking my head I didn't want to know what was in either thing. But even without saying anything I knew that Penelope had bought me a dress and some jewelry to match it.

"Please don't." I groaned, "I really hope that you don't have a dress in that box. I don't want to go to the dance. Let me just lay here in my own misery."

The three of them began speaking at once; each of them saying that I didn't have a choice and I was going to the dance. Pulling the pillow out from behind me, I tightly shoved it against my face hoping that it'd make me pass out.

"Alright, stop playing around." Penelope pulled the pillow out of my hands, "You need to get your hair and makeup done before putting on the dress." She looked at Trinity and Bethany, "Do you girls think you can handle that? I'll make up some snacks while you work."

"I'll do hair." Trinity spoke, "You do makeup."

As they pulled me up from the bed, my body was quickly shoved into a waiting chair. Bethany and Trinity quickly worked to make me presentable while Penelope looked over their shoulders approving or adding critics. After what seemed to be forever, they all stepped back and smiled approvingly at me.

Before I could look in the mirror to see what they had done, I was once again pulled up and put into the dress that Penelope had bought. Finally turning to the mirror the person staring back at me felt unfamiliar. She looked as if she was happy when I knew that I wasn't. She could have friends and spend time with them without feeling guilty for leaving her sisters behind. She wasn't left behind, she was loved.
