Interview • part 397

It's June 11 2014 in Shanghai, China the day after Tessa and Ian had landed in the city. The couple was invited to the Shanghai Television Festival for an interview. It was Tessa's first time doing an interview out of the country unlike Ian who travels back and forth every other day for these things.

The crowd was heard chattering back and forth as Ian and Tessa were both given microphones, boards with Chinese writing stuck to them.

"Okay, you two can go." The kind man backstage motioned for them to go out.

Tessa nods giving him a small smile. "Thank you."

She looks at Ian with a nervous look. He looks back at her. "Come on, Tess. It's easy. Sure the language barrier is kind of tough but it's basically the same thing."

Tessa glances out where a male and a female both were sat on chairs on the platform beside two empty chairs where they were supposed to sit. "Okay." She breathes out smiling nervously. "Let's do this."

Ian nods smiling and jerks his head to the stage. "Watch me."

He takes a few steps forward and suddenly jumps on the single step stage making an excited face. Tessa lightly giggles at his attempt to make her feel better. She shakes her head and walks out with a bright smile waving at the crowd. Quite a few loud cheers were heard as she walks onto the platform.

The young Chinese man takes a step forward to shake Ian's hand. "Hi, I'm Nioveg." (A/N: hi guys! This is the name I heard in the video so that's what I'm going to call him but if it isn't right I'm sorry!)

Ian tries to reach for hid hand being offered but he realized he had his mic in his hand. "Oh." He hands it to his other hand that was all bandaged up and holds it as best as he could. "How are you man?" Ian shakes Nioveg's hand.

"Yeah." Nioveg smiles as they pull away. He goes over to Tessa planting a kiss on her cheek. "Hello. I'm Nioveg."

"Oh!" Tessa laughs shocked at how forward he was with his greeting. "Hi, I'm Tessa."

"Nice to meet you." He bows his head down slightly as polite manners.

"Nice to meet you too." Tessa smiles. She points back and forth at Nioveg and Ian. "You two are basically matching."

"Oh that's right!" Ian laughs.

Nioveg smiles. "Wow."

Ian looks at the crowd handing the microphone back to his fully mobile hand. "Good morning Shanghai." His morning voice still sort of there making him sound extra hot.

"Good morning Ian!" The crowd shouts in unison making him and Tessa both laugh in how cute that was.

"Hi everyone!" Tessa waves smiling.

"Hi Tessa!" They shout all together again.

"You guys are so adorable." Tessa smiles as she goes to sit down between Ian and the lady who was assumingely the translator.

"I love you Ian!" A fan from mother crowd yells.

Ian smirks from his seat. "I love you too."
