Wedding Gone Wrong!

~Chapter 5~

Rita Maa came out and hugged Shehnaaz first thing, joined by Shanaya, the way they greeted each other with so much love was very overwhelming for Khushi, she was just observing all this and secretely prayed to have a family like this as well.

"Maa this is my best friend, Khushi.", Shehnaaz introduced Khushi to Rita Maa who just gave her a sweet smile, and from what Khushi has seen she bowed down to touch her feet in respect.

"Arey no need! Stay blessed always!", Rita maa said patting her cheeks as she stopped her from touching her feet.

"And Khushi, this is my mother in law, this cute girl over here is Shanaya!", Shehnaaz said and Shanaya gave a toothy grin and waved at Khushi. Khushi waved back at her.
"Aur ye Rishab.", Shehnaaz said pointing towards Rishab who was already looking at Khushi since then, he walked up to her and extended his hand for a handshake.

"Hey!", He said and Khushi held his hand softly but immediately backed off with a small 'Hi'.

"Tum sab thak gaye hoge, andar chalo then we'll talk.", Rita maa said and they all walked inside together

"Bhabhi aapki friend Indian nahi hai?", Rishab whispered in Shehnaaz's ear, so that no one could hear it.

"Her mother is Indian, and father is American. She is not a citizen of India.", Shehnaaz said and Rishab nodded.

"Tujhe kaise pata?", Shehnaaz asked him.

"I just felt that!", Rishab said while rotating his keys in his index finger.

"Oh sorry tune to PhD ki hai ladkiyon me, Dr. Rishab Shukla.", Shehnaaz taunted him and rishab just stuck out his tongue at her.

"Ab main itna bhi kuch khas nahi.", Rishab said with a shy smile.

"Kya baatein ho rahi hai?", Shanaya ran up to them.

"Bachchon ko batane wali baatien nahi hai.", Rishab said and went from there.

They all went inside and was shown their rooms, Sana and Khushi were sharing a room, as it was just for one night, the next day they'll be shifting back to their own house. And Shehnaaz being Shehnaaz, she came to the room kept her luggage and ran outside to no-one-knows-where. And Khushi just stayed back to freshen up, also since it was her first time here she was feeling awkward, but comfortable because of how welcoming Sidharth's family was. She changed into some comfortable clothes and was sitting on the bed with her phone.

Meanwhile, Shehnaaz and Sidharth has gone to the bank for some work issues. And here Rishab was getting impatient, he spotted Shanaya going upstairs with Chocolates.

"Kahan ja rahi ho?", Rishab asked her.

"Khushi Di ko Chocolates bohot pasand hai, to bhai ne welcome gift ke liye lakar rakhe the, Bhai told me to give it to her.", Shanaya said.

"Main bore ho raha hoon, chal I'll also come.", Rishab said and both of them went to Khushi.

They knocked on the door and Khushi opened and looked at them with a shy smile.
"Di this is for you.", Shanaya said very cutely as she gave the chocolates to Khushi who took it with a huge smile.

"Ye iski side se nahi hai waise, Bhai ne diye hai.", Rishab said within a second and Shanaya glared at him.

"Let's go downstairs, aap akeli bore ho jaogi.", Shanaya said and wrapped her arms with Khushi's taking her downstairs where Rita Maa was also sitting, Shehnaaz's parents and Shahbaaz were in their rooms.

"Are these idiots irritating you?", Rita maa asked Khushi who just laughed and shook her head.

"Don't feel so shy Di! Ise apna hi ghar samjho.", Shanaya said and khushi smiled at their kindness.
