Wedding Gone Wrong!

~Chapter 15~

The sun was shining over the tall buildings of Mumbai, and Shanaya was admiring her clear blue swimming pool from the window of her room as she had nothing else to do. Meera was also in Shanaya's room, reading a book on organic fertilizers.

"Meera Di, could you give that book some rest, we could do something productive.", Shanaya said to Meera.

"This is me being productive.", Meera said without looking at Shanaya.

"Oh give me that!", Shanaya took the book from Meera and kept it on the table, Meera just raised an eyebrow at her.

"Fine. What do you want me to do?", Meera asked her.

"Let's go to bhai's office, we'll ask him to treat us out for lunch.", Shanaya said excitedly, because of all the different reasons ofcourse, she never liked visiting his office.

"He'll be working Shanaya!", Meera said.

"No! Bhabhi is also there with him in his office.", Shanaya whined.

"All the more reasons to why we shouldn't disturb them.", Meera said picking her book again.

"Arey baba! Kuch nahi hoga, chalo na, main hoon na.", Shanaya said and Meera knew she can't argue with this girl. She tied her hair in a bun, and put on her mask as usual as she and Shanaya made their way out of the house.

"Kahan ja rahi ho?", Rishab was just entering inside when they were leaving and asked him, Meera was about to tell him but Shanaya beat her to it.

"Aapse matlab?", Shanaya said and dragged Meera away before she could say anything, Rishab just shook his head in disbelief and walked inside.

"Kyu nahi bataya use?", Meera asked as Shanaya took out her scooty.

"Kyuki fir woh kehte main bhi chalta hoon, and he is a pain in my ass.", Shanaya said making Meera laugh, they both drove away. Shanaya's smile kept widening as Sid's office neared.

"Itni khush kyu ho?", Meera asked her as they made their way upstairs.

"Sad ho jaun?", Shanaya retaliated and Meera rolled her eyes at her, sooner they reached Sidharth's cabin upstairs and both of them were greeted by happy faces all around.

"Bhai!", Shanaya chirped and both Sidharth and Shehnaaz turned to face her.

"Tum dono yahan?", Sidharth asked them.

"She dragged me here.", Meera said to Shehnaaz who hugged her.

"Koi na, we were just chilling aise bhi.", Shehnaaz said as she made Meera sit, Shanaya already found her way on top of a table, in a room where there were numerous vacant chairs.

"Bhai I'm hungry.", Shanaya whined and Sidharth gave her a look.

"Mom hasn't cooked lunch?", Sidharth asked sarcastically.

"No! I want to eat Pizza. And Fries. And coke.", Shanaya said dramatically, and that's when Shubman walked outside from Sidharth's dungeon, as Shehnaaz likes to say.

"Bhai that blueprint has been uploaded.", He said to Sidharth and looked at Shanaya with a shy smile, she waved at him with the widest smile.

"Sit. Don't be intimidated by her.", Sidharth told him and he took a seat beside him on the chair.

"Bhai, back to my lunch now.", Shanaya said as she jumped down the table and sat on a chair beside Sidharth.

"My treat today, what do you wanna eat?", Shehnaaz asked her and Shanaya gave her a wide smile. "Actually why order? Let's all go out for lunch.", She further suggested.
