Wedding Gone Wrong!

~Chapter 6~

Shubman was sitting in his cabin, ordering some raw materials for production at TechBot. He was kinda bored but it was atleast better than sitting alone at home.

"Mr. Shubman Gill?", Karen's voice came in the interns room and asked out loud, shubman just stood up.

"Sidharth Sir is calling you.", She said and everyone turned to look at him with a questioning gaze, there's only two reasons why Sidharth would call someone: either they have done something excellent or they've done something terrible. Even Shubman started sweating in nervousness, but nevertheless walked to the elevator.
His anxiety rose up with each floor, as the doors to Sidharth's floor opened, he walked out in hesitant steps.

"To his cabin sir.", Karen's voice said, Shubman remembered where Sidharth's cabin was, he just quietly walked there and saw Sidharth was sitting there with his phone.

"You called me sir?", Shubman asked him, trying to sound as calm as possible.

"Oh yes! Follow me.", Sidharth just said that and began walking inside to his personal lab. Shubman quietly followed him inside.
And like last time, his AI model wasn't screened above the table.

"So as you said, to reverse the mobius strip and try again, I took your advice and did that.", Sidharth said keeping a hand on the table where the model was previously displayed, Shubman got scared, he started thinking of all the ways it could go negatively.

"Well.... I'm glad to inform you.", Sidharth said and did something with his fingers on the table which brought the AI model back on the table. "It worked.", Sidharth completed his sentence and dragged his fingers in order to zoom the model.

Sid looked at Shubman who just kept looking at the scientific wonder infront of him with glittering eyes and a huge smile on his face.

"Sidharth sir..... I.....", Shubman wanted to say something but couldn't form proper sentences, he just kept staring at the illuminating lights.

"Good job buddy!", Sidharth said patting his shoulder, it was a beyond overwhelming moment for him, his entire body had goosebumps.
"I also have an offer for you, if you're done staring at my Karen 2.0.", Sidharth said with a chuckle and that's when Shubman came back to his senses, he smiled shyly and nodded,  they both walked out of the lab and got seated in his cabin.

"The program is successful, but there's still a lot of work left, uploading all the data available on internet is a huge task, and I also want to upgrade the software of the AI, and it's freakin time consuming.", Sidharth said and Shubman nodded, he has never done something like this before but he could understand.

"So what do you think about assisting me in this project?", Sidharth asked him with a smile. It was indeed a life changing day for Shubman.

"That would be a dream come true for me sir.", Shubman said, he was at loss of words.

"Welcome to my personal team. Probably the only person on this team. It's a very secret project. Once when it's finished, ek dhamakedar announcement hogi.", Sidharth said extending his hand for a handshake which Shubman shook firmly

"But sir I have one condition.", Shubman said, as much as he hated saying that, he had to.

"Oh yes ofcourse! Don't worry about the money. You'll get an amazing pay.", Sidharth said as he sensed what that problem might be.

"No sir, I don't want money, I can do this for free. What I want is, mujhe is cheez me kisi bhi tarah ka credit nahi chahiye, and as you said aap 'dhamakedar announcement' karoge, please do not include me anywhere in that.", Shubman said, it took a lot of guts to say that. Sidharth just raised his eyebrows in shock
