The sun began to set as two hours passed before Matthew had woken up, looking around he saw Madison sitting on the wall in front of him with her knees to her chest waiting; Matthew sat up grunting before leaning against the opposite wall looking towards Madison. "That was quite the stunt you pulled back there, really caught me off guard seeing you handle a military grade weapon even if it was just dumb luck." Matthew gave a chuckle as he lifted his bottom portion of the shirt revealing the stab wound has fully healed leaving Madison filled with even more questions. "Now that you're awake tell me how you knew Isabella? who or what are you exactly? And why are you going around killing the nobility?" Madison said as she tried to keep her emotions in check looking up at him as she waited for answers. He gave a quick sigh before laying his head against the wall, "To answer those questions we need to go back a bit. My former name is Orinda, but I go by Matthew for the time being to keep my human story simple, my kind and I have lived on these lands for hundreds of years before you humans came in and decided to make it your own, as for what I am I'm a dragon or a demi-human your kind has labeled us. Your maid Isabella and I met up regularly because she helped give me information after I saved her life one day from those scummy military police who do as they please with demi humans. The information I was given was to get me closer to the king of this country and destroy his kingdom, I hate humans more than anything, but here I am respecting her last wish and not killing you." Matthew sighed again as he picked his head up to stare at Madison as she processed all the information she heard. After a few minutes of silence pass, Madison stood holding her hand out to Matthew helping him off the ground giving him a serious glare, "I'll keep your identity a secret, but in return I want you to let me join you on the mission to change this country rules and views, I want to see the world that Isabella and I spoke about." Madison gave a smirk as Matthew gave a chuckle taking her hand standing on his own feet standing over her. "If you think you can handle all the pressure and learn to protect yourself in situations, I'll let you join this revolution and free the other beings" Matthew smiled before letting go of the girl's hand leaving the alley way, waving before disappearing in an instant.
Madison left the alley shortly after heading towards Carly's home as she looked down into her hand smiling after she noticed the diamond being a bluish color now. She had made it back to Carly's home as the sun had finally set, opening the door walking upstairs before quickly attacked by Carly who was worried about her friend. "Where on earth were you? It's late and you just got in, did something happen between the two of you?" Carly spoke with a concerned tone but was quickly calmed as Madison hugged her tightly smiling. "Don't worry everything is fine, nothing important happened we just had a conversation about his home country is all." Madison stopped the hug before heading up to the bathroom to clean up, dropping her smile as her back turned thinking about the mission she picked up.
After cleaning up Madison prepared herself for bed, leaving the bathroom she entered Carly's room laying on the extra bed that was made for her as she raised her hand giving her palm one final stare before clenching her fist bringing it down to her chest tightly as her eyes began to close slowly drifting into sleep mumbling one final sentence, "I'll change everything for you Isabella."
