Help at FTRS

I look up into familiar violet eyes.

"Sure. Just don't step on my feet." I say, taking Jax's hand.

Jax laughs and we start dancing.

We dance for a few minutes when Kayla and Ollie join us. AG, Jocelyn, Hayley, and Jack, all join us by the time the Fire-step comes on.

Maxine records the whole thing.

By the time we decide it's time to stop dancing, most people are getting ready to go home.

"Did anyone call the hospital?" I ask, remembering that Flora still needs help.

"Yes. They got Flora to the hospital and she's safe. She'll have to stay at the hospital for a few days, but she'll be fine." Miri assures me.

I let out a sigh of relief.

Thank goodness.

"But, we will need some help running the school while Flora's away. Any volunteers?" Miri asks.

"I can help. I've always wanted to be a teacher." Maxine offers.

The others agree, saying that they were bored with being 'normal kids' again.

"I can help as well. I know a few tricks for getting kids to behave. I am the oldest of six kids after all." I say.

"Well then, I guess we have our helpers. Please go to the Headmistress's office and we will continue talking there." Miri instructs.

We all obey and are soon standing in the office that used to be part of our childhood.

"Good. Now, we're going to need you to help the kids with reforming. I hope you know some tricks for that." Miri says.

"We can offer them candy." AG says.

"And take it from them if they're bad!" Jocelyn suggests.

"No candy." I say, folding my arms.

My friends look at me for a moment.

"What? We don't need more people like Hansel and Gretel! And what if they don't like candy?" I point out.

"Having candy won't make them like Hansel and Gretel." Maxine tells me.

"You don't know that. After all, Stiltskin used candy to get kids on his side. Maybe Stiltskin found a way to get his brainwashing potion into the candy again." I say.

My friends just look at me again.

"Gilly, Stiltskin is gone. He can't hurt anyone anymore, and Anna's good again... I think." AG says.

"I know, I know, but that doesn't mean that all his helpers are good! Maybe they're planning to get him out of banishment! I don't know how, but it's a possibility!" I tell them.

They stare at me again.

"Thief, we understand that the whole fight with Stiltskin was scary for you, but it's over now. And if he does somehow come back, we're here for you." Jax assures me.

I take a few deep breaths.

"Okay. You're right. It's over. He's gone and Alva's gone. It's over. Thank you." I say.

AG, Kayla, and Maxine give me a hug.

We're all together again. Nothing can stop us now.
