I look down the street and finally find the house I'm looking for.
I walk to it and knock on the door three times.
I hear someone moving around inside before the door cracks open a tiny bit.
A pair of amber eyes stare at me.
"Gilly?" I hear Kayla Wingtip whisper.
"It's me Kayla. Long time, no see." I say, holding back tears.
Grimm, since when am I so emotional?
"Gilly!" Kayla yells, throwing the door open then wrapping her arms around me in a tight hug. I hug her back, still holding back tears.
"Come on in! Make yourself at home!" Kayla invited.
"Thank you! I've been walking for a while." I say, following Kayla into the house.
I sit down on a couch and Kayla goes to the kitchen to make some mint tea.
"So, what brings you here after so many years? Oh! Did you and Jax stay in contact?" Kayla asks from the kitchen.
"Umm, no. I lost contact with everyone. And I'm here because of the invitation I got to go back to FTRS for a party." I explain.
"Oh, that! I got that too! Did you go to talk to the others as well?" Kayla questions.
"Well, no. I was hoping I could talk to you first." I say.
"Oh? Well, what's up?" Kayla says.
"Well, I was heard that you became a designer and was, well, you know, hoping you could make a replica of my dress from all those years ago at our graduation?" I say.
"I would absolutely love to! They dress was amazing! You looked fabulous in it too, did you say Jax's face when he saw you in that outfit? He looked so lovestruck! It's so obvious that he used to have the biggest crush on you!" Kayla gossips.
My eyes widen slightly.
"Wait, what?!" I yell.
"Wait, you didn't know? How oblivious are you? I mean come on!" Kayla says.
"Well I kind of thought that he already had a queen in mind." I confess.
"He did you idiot! You!" Kayla practically screams.
I was? I was the girl he had in mind? Really?
Kayla walks back into the living room and hands me a cup of tea.
"Now, let's talk about the outfit you'll be wearing before I get even more upset by how dumb you are." Kayla says.
