Trust me, I wasn't supposed to update this chapter today, on Valentine's day. I was going to post it yesterday but I couldn't ;-;

Sorry for the wait!

jxmnqt  wouldn't have been possible without you. I swear, I am so grateful to you. This is last part of my surprise, it's nothing in front of how much you mean to me.

      It was early morning, the shades of the world blossom anew, clouds grinned wider upon the newborn sky.

A raven-haired male rested his head on a bark, taking the scene and saving it somewhere behind his closing eyelids.

The flute of the leaves sang with the morning breeze, an unversed song. Leaving a silent crackle behind, which was sensed deep within his soul. Sedating him and shoving him back on his tangled mind.

Jimin's mind was playing tricks on him, his heart which wasn't his to keep anymore, together they were numbing his functional brain. Daydreaming was never his thing, because he never faced anything other than nightmares.

He was used to the dark for too long, that now a speckle of light bothered him. It scared him that the parts which were draped with black would be painted by that flicker into indifferent colors and he wouldn't be able to stop it. Feared him that it would bring unseen patterns in his monotonous life and he might like it.

This was before the sun was up, way before the training would start and yet Jimin found himself waiting for a certain sight of someone. At the place where Taehyung called him to meet the other day.

He felt like a fool, waiting for a ship to arrive at his lighthouse, in the place where all he was to meet with were ocean currents. Waiting there made his mind escape the margins in which he confined himself for so long.

Why did he follow his request? He didn't know. Jimin had always built his walls, higher and higher, hiding himself behind it. Taehyung always found a way to climb up on them, and Jimin couldn't even push him down. Why?

Every time there was a red alert of Taehyung entering his vicinity, he was supposed to guard it harder and armor his empty shell till it he could just look past his adorable actions. He wasn't supposed to think of how cute they actually were.

Glad that there was a mask on his face which concealed his uncontrollable facial expression, and made everyone feel like he kept a straight face. But Taehyung saw through him like the mask was transparent, the real him, his inner self which he tried so hard to not show to anyone. Let alone a stranger.
