5/18/1405 Dear Old Man:
Prim and I had arrived at the inn just before dark which was a bit of a relief. I don't know what these cities are like after dark so I'd rather not be caught out during those times. Prim is fast asleep as I'm writing this and honestly everything has been going well so far all things considered. The only odd thing that happened was that there was this odd priest that was staring at Prim while we were eating dinner. I told her nothing but to be honest it's been bothering me since. After a while he had just disappeared as though he had never been there to begin with. I might do some asking around tomorrow to see if we can find out either who he was or what church he's at so I can go ask some questions...Suddenly there was a knock at the door, I let out a soft sigh and glanced over at Prim who was thankfully still asleep. I walked over to the door and opened it slowly to see Vera standing there. She had a nervous yet determined look on her face, when she looked up and saw me standing in the door her face had brightened up a bit.
"O-Oh sorry if I'm bothering you! I was just wondering what your name was!" Vera had explained quickly, she gave a soft laugh.
"Sorrel.. M-My name is Sorrel." I stammered quietly, feeling myself hide behind the door a bit more. "Sorry if this is rude but uhm... if all you wanted to know was my name I'm gonna head back in now." I started with an overly blunt tone, though realizing how rude I must have sounded, I spoke again. "A-Ah sorry! I didn't mean to sound rude!" Though Vera shook her head."No it's okay, but that's a really nice name." She had said with a warm smile, holding her hands close to her chest. "Well, goodnight, Sorrel." Vera gave a soft nod and walked back down the hall and down to the lobby. I closed the door behind me and let out a deep sigh, I don't remember when I had started holding my breath. I heard rustling from one of the beds and I poked my head around the corner to see Prim slowly sit up and rub her eyes. Her hair which was normally well kept was frizzy and messy, it was honestly a cute sight. "Everything okay...?" Prim had asked, sleepily slurring her words, most likely only half awake. I chuckled and sat down on her bed and nodded. "Yeah, everythings okay, Vera was just making sure we had everything we needed before she got off work." I explained. "Just go back to sleep alright?" Prim gave a sleepy nod and as soon as her head had hit the pillow she passed out. I walked back over to the desk and sat back down, stretching a bit in the chair before getting back to my Journal entry.
...Anyways, everything has been going well since we left Harspire, I'm just hoping that it will stay that way. But I should probably be heading to bed now, thanks for listening as always. Goodnight.
