Chapter 9- Apologies with a twist

I would say that it was about 8:30am-9am when I woke up. I still felt something tug me down. I looked to my side seeing Karl hugging my waist. I could also feel his warm breath breathing down my neck. I didn't mind it at all but I had to use the bathroom. So I carefully got out of his grip leaving just him on the bed.

After using the bathroom I felt hungry so I decided to go to the kitchen. On my way there, I could smell something delicious being cooked.

"Morning sleepyhead," I heard someone say. I turn around to see dream behind me. "You look like you slept well," he told me.

"Yeah I guess," I answered him. "What about you?" I asked him, trying to be polite.

"Oh uh I guess slept fine last night," He said answering my question.

Then out of no where Karl came into the kitchen. His face was pale, like if he had seen a ghost. He came towards us and I give him a confused look.

"Have any of you talked to jimmy? Or Chris and chandler?" He asked us.

"No, why? Is there something going on?" Dream asked. And I just shook my head giving him the sign that I haven't.

"I was trying to reach Chris but he wasn't answering and then I tried chandler but he wasn't answering either. So then I tried calling Jimmy and he wasn't answering either," Karl said quickly.

"Maybe they are just busy?" I suggested. "Either way it's early in the morning, they could still be asleep," Dream added after me.

Karl just gave us an worried look. Sapnap came out of his room and into the kitchen.

"Can you guys just shut the fuck up for like 10 minutes," he asked us."I'm trying to sleep and you're not helping."

We just stood there staring at him, until he broke the silence. "Alright then, what are you guys talking about that is so important," he asked us.

"Jimmy, Chris, nor chandler are picking up their phones and I've called them many times already but none of them answer," Karl responded to sapnap.

"Well maybe they are sleeping y'know." Sapnap said,"who doesn't sleep in the morning?"

"That's exactly what I said," dream said.

"Well we could go check if you want," I told Karl.

"Yeah sure come on let's go (Y/n)," Karl told me.

"We could tag along if you want," Dream said.

"Well I don't really think thats really necessary," Karl said. "No we could go with you guys just Incase," sapnap said supporting Dream.

"Alright whatever let's just go already," Karl told us.

We got in car and drove another few hours. It's was a long car ride but everyone Was talking. Karl and Dream where in the front while me and sapnap where in the back. We would play Rock Paper Scissors from time to time.

He would tell about his life and about his time with dream. It was nice to see how much they care for each other. But he would also ask me questions like, "what do you think of dream" and stuff like "would you date him". Honestly I didn't really answer any of those questions. I just ask him why the sudden questions.

Everytime he would ask me a question about dream, Karl would just look at me through the mirror. If I didn't know any better, I'd say he was jealous.

We had finally arrived, but we first headed to my house to see if Jimmy was there. I told them to stay in the car. I walked up the steps and knocked on the door. My mom answered and she gave me a worried look. And pulled me into a hug.

"Where have you been? I was looking everywhere for you. Jimmy told me you left with Karl but He didn't say where," she told me hugging me tighter.

"I'm sorry mom but there was a lot of drama and Karl went to visit a friend and wanted me to come along," I told her.

"I'm just glad your okay and safe. But next time you decide to leave with you 'boyfriend' make sure to tell me so I don't worry," my mom said.

"Okay, but uh have you seen Jimmy by any chance? I kinda need to talk to him," I asked my mom.

"Oh he left this morning. He told me he was going on a trip. Y'know, Alex stopped by the house looking for you. He seemed really worried and he left you a gift," my mom told me as she let go of me.

"Really?" I asked her.

"Yes! Come I left it in your room," she told me.

She led me to my room and there it was. The color was grey guided with a blue and white ribbon.

"Oh, it looks cute. By the way mom imma be staying with Karl for a few days," I told her.

"Alright that's fine and I figure you have to go since there is a car parked outside," she said looking out the window.

"Yeah bye mom I'll be back soon," I told her while hugging her goodbye.

I went back into the car with the gift. Everyone looked at me weirdly. "What?" I blurted out.

"Well you have a gift so open it," sapnap said to me.

I opened the gift and inside was a card, some chocolates, and a teddy bear. I opened the card ignoring the rest. But I can see sapnap taking the chocolates and starting to eat them. It's not like I was gonna eat them either way.

I opened the card and inside was a note and a code? I looked at everyone confused and sapnap just leaned closer to me look at the card. He was a bit to close which made me blush a little bit. He started to read the card out loud.

"I'm sorry for the things that I have said. I'm also sorry for the 'deal' that I made with Jimmy. I shouldn't have been such an idiot and a selfish person towards you. I have already apologized to Jimmy. I did it because I have liked you for a long time and I didn't know how to say it. I'm sorry I ruined your birthday and I hope you can forgive me." Sapnap read out loud causing everyone to look at me afterwards.

"Yeah but what's the code for?" I asked everyone.

"Maybe coordinates?"

"Oo maybe a gift card to apologize"

"Is it his phone number? Like I mean there's a lot of numbers"

"No it had letters and shit"

"Maybe it's a secret code"

"Well maybe it is coordinates?" I said.

"Could be. Try searching it up," Dream suggested.

I took out my phone and imputed the numbers on safari '50.8225° N, 0.1372° W'.

"It's coordinates to Brighton," I told them.

"Brighton? Where is that?" Karl asked.

"Brighton? Like as Brighton UK?" Dream asked.

"Yeah. Is quackity over there or something?" I asked.

"Is there anything else on that card? A phone number perhaps?" Karl asked.

"Yeah at the bottom but it's very little," I answered him.

After a while we figured it was a phone number and called it. It kept ringing and ringing but nobody answered.

"So that was useless," sapnap said.

"Yeah," Karl said afterwards.

We decided to go eat somewhere since we didn't even bother to eat breakfast. We entered the restaurant and sat down. Everyone was talking about stuff but I wasn't paying attention. Until I got a call from an unknown number. And shushed them up.

I answer the phone, "Hello?" I said. "Hello? Who is this?" The voice asked. "Uh I'm (Y/n) who is this?" I asked the voice. "(Y/n)? Hm, I'm George and there is something we have to talk about."
