valentines' day special / epilogue

y/n pov: 

the bright sun was shining brightly into my room. it's a weekend, yet the sun still has no mercy over me. can't i sleep for another five minutes or so...

i pulled myself out of bed and made my way into the living room. 

there, yohan was already awake, doing something seemingly secretive at the corner. 

i tiptoed over silently and peeked from behind him. he was holding a scented candle in his hand. what's he doing with a candle-

"BOO!" i shouted as he yelped in shock.

"aigoo, why did you scare me- i almost dropped this... thank god it didn't..." he said, patting the candle. 

"why's the candle more important than a good morning to me?" i pouted.

"y/n-ie is angry?" he asked as i looked away.

"sorryy, good morning baby," he said, hugging me (WHILE HOLDING THE CANDLE STILL??? is the candle important or am i important D:) 

"so.... what are you doing with the candle?" i asked. 

"hehe, nothing much. you'll see it later today," he replied sheepishly.

"it's a surprise for me?" i asked and he nodded.

"okay then, quick hide it. i didn't see it at all," i told him, "it's a surprise right?"

"nah i won't hide it already, since you saw it, i'll just put it aside first. let's get breakfast now, shall we?" he asked as i agreed. 

we decided to go to the cafe nearby since it was newly opened and there was a valentines' day special. 

"welcome, please have a seat," the waitress welcomed as she brought us to a seat near the windows. 

we got ourselves seated and took our orders quickly. as soon as the food arrived, we dug in, and then we left. (a.n if you thought this was some important moment, i'll tell you. it's not-)

we decided to go grocery shopping together after, since i had to get my eggs refilled, and get some other veggies for the week's dinner. 

we went to the vegetables section to get some veggies first, since it was the nearest to the entrance. as we picked the veggies, i felt something at my pocket and then suddenly it felt lighter. 

i went to look into my pocket. it's empty... my wallet! 

i looked around and saw a guy running off.

"han-ah! that guy took my wallet!" i told yohan, who was holding two leeks and trying to compare which would be better to buy.

"what?" he asked, turning to look at the thief. he immediately put the leeks down, running off after the thief, and i followed after. and people around us started looking. 

yohan and the thief got into a fight, but the way yohan fought didn't seem like it was his first time. he even seemed like an experienced fighter. 

within two minutes, yohan dealt with the thief and got my wallet back. 

"y/n-ie, check if there's anything missing," he said, passing me my wallet as i looked through.

"nope, all in," i told him after checking. 

"don't ever steal again. if i see you again, i won't just let you off like that. y/n-ie, let's go," yohan said, pulling me off. 

as we went back to the veggie sector, i said, "i thought you were a good student and didn't fight."

"i am a good student, of course. but for you, i can fight baddies," he said, "just so you know, i do taekwondo." 

and once again, he got my heart going wild. again :)
