It was the start of Aurielle's sophomore year of college. All of her freshmen year she used the credit card her mom gave her to pay for her expenses and her part of bills and rent on the place she shares with her friends. But after Audrey died, Andrew fell deeper into the dark circle of gambling and wasn't able to pay the bill.
Aurielle picked up two jobs, a waitress at the diner and a bookstore clerk. She also had a full class load at Columbia.
"You didn't have to go get two jobs..we told you we didn't mind to help you out." Aliyah said
"I know. But I can't expect you all to pay for all my stuff." She said as the girls were having study session when Aurielle came in from work.
"We are your best friends." Valentina said
"I know." Aurielle said as she grabbed a slice of pizza and began to do her homework.
The next morning her day started her routine, class then work. During the week she worked at the bookstore and on the weekends she did the opening shift at the bookstore and closing shift at the diner.
