Ch. 3 "Beach Day"

Y/n's Pov.

We arrived at the hotel yesterday. It has been nothing but fun ever since. Although I was having fun I couldn't help but feel like I was being watched. I was sure it was just Stefan watching me though. "DON"T SPLASH, DON'T SPLASH!" I yelled as Stefan jumped in the pool. It was almost sundown and we had to be out by 10 pm so we had some time. We had just gotten in anyways. The pool was a beautiful white with blue trim and a hot tub. The pool also colorful lights around the bottom that turned on at night. About 30 minutes later we got out because we got bored. "Hey what do you want for dinner?" Stefan asked. I didn't exactly know what I wanted to eat just yet. "I don't know, what do you wanna eat?" I asked Stefan which earned me a smirk and then an answer. "I say let's have spaghetti." Stefan said. I nodded and we dried off and went to our penthouse suite to cook. The suit was beautiful. It had tan walls, white carpet, and turtles painted on the ceiling. It also came complete with a kitchen, huge bathroom, two rooms, and queen sized beds for each room. My room was decorated in blue and Stefan's in red. We also had our own pool in the suite and we had a hot tub as well. Not only did we have that but we had a big TV and a long couch with a chase at the end. The TV came complete with Netflix, YouTube, and Hulu. Of course it had regular cable if you wanted to just watch that too. Mine and Stefan's rooms had TVs as well. They weren't as big but they were suitable. Stefan prepared the spaghetti while I sat on the couch watching "You" on Netflix. "Dinner's ready, my love." Stefan said leaning down in my ear. I blushed at how close he was to me. "O-ok I'm coming." I said trying not to go red in from ear to ear. I sat down to eat the spaghetti and I drank some soda while doing so. "So are you having fun Y/n?" Stefan asked as he slurped a noodle. I giggled a little before answering, "Yeah I am, time here with you has been really great and I don't ever want to leave." I stated happily. Soon we finished our food and cleaned up the mess. "I'm gonna take a shower." I called out from my room. I grabbed a pair of blue gym shorts and a loose crop top. "Okay." Stefan called back. I got in the shower and let the water rush over me. The warmth of the water felt so nice I just didn't wanna leave. I washed my hair with "Ocean Breeze." That was the name of the Shampoo and Conditioner that I used. I finished my shower and got into my clothes. I walked out of the bathroom. What I saw made my whole body go red. "Oh my God Stefan is shirtless." I thought to myself. I went to sit by him but not right beside him because that would make me blush more. "Whatcha' doin?" I asked. "I'm watching the show "You" on Netflix." Stefan said. "Hey that's the show I was watching!" I exclaimed. "Well you could watch it with me if you want." He said. I nodded and scooted a little closer but not too close. It was about halfway through the show and I couldn't keep my eyes open any longer. "Sleepy?" Stefan asked. I nodded with a yawn and in a quick motion he swept me up in his arms and carried me to my bed. When we got into my room he placed me on my bed and covered me up as if I was some little kid and he was my father. "You didn't have to do that you know." I said, "Yeah I know." He said with a chuckle and closed the door. I not too long after fell asleep to a dreamless and peaceful slumber.

Stefan's Pov:

I had just shut the door to Y/n's room. I couldn't get close to her yet and I got separate rooms because we aren't dating like I would like but we are just friends for now. I don't think she knows that I like her but I can tell she likes me. It's the little things she does like bushing at certain words or laughing at my jokes that aren't even funny. I went to my room and sat down on the bed. I got into some comfy clothes and laid down. I was in my thoughts and soon got bored. I got so bored I didn't even notice I fell asleep.

Y/n's Pov:

I woke up in the middle of the night to the sound of snoring. I sat up slowly and rubbed my eyes. "Where is that loudness coming from?" I asked myself. I got up to see what it was and get a snack. I walked towards the kitchen and past Stefan's room. "That's where the snoring is." I said to myself with a small giggle. I got to the kitchen and grabbed the peanut butter and a box of gram crackers. "Best snack ever." I thought. My grandma had showed me this snack ages ago and I have loved it ever since. I decided to bring the snacks back to my room when I heard footsteps. "Stefan is that you?" I asked. As the figure grew closer I could see that it was Stefan and he was yawning. "Yes Y/n, it's me." he said through a yawn. "I'm sorry did I wake you?" I asked with a frown. "No you didn't I just wanted a snack." he said. I nodded and I gave him an extra snack I made. "Here have this." I said handing him the snack. He quickly ate it. "Thanks Y/n but how did you know I was awake?" he asked. "I just had a hunch." I said. "Oh ok well I'm gonna go back to bed. Goodnight Y/n." he said. "Goodnight." I said. I went back to my room shortly after and fell asleep in my comfy bed.

Damon's Pov: 

"Damnit Stefan answer your phone!" I yelled through our mansion. Stefan hadn't come home in two days and I was worried about him. "Maybe he's at Y/n's." I thought putting on my coat. I rushed out the door and headed to Y/n's. Don't ask how I know where she lives I just do okay. Anyways I got to her house and Knocked on the door. "Hello may I help you?" A sweet old lady said. She was probably Y/n's grandma. "Yes is this Y/n's house?" I asked. "Yes it is but she's out of town with a friend right now. I can take a message though for when she gets back." Y/n's grandma said. "No can you just tell me where they went I'm a friend of her's my name is Damon." I said. "Oh Damon! I've heard so much about you. You're Stefan's brother right?" She asked. "How does she know Stefan?" I thought to myself. "Yes I'm Stefan's brother. How do you know him?" I asked. "Oh Stefan came here two nights ago and him and Y/n went to the beach." She said. "Okay thank you miss and remember please don't let anyone in that you don't know who they are okay." I said. She gave me a questioning look but she nodded and shut the door. I like Y/n and I want her before Stefan gets her. I'll just have to take a drive to the beach and pay my brother and our friend a visit for leaving me behind.
