Ch 4. "Damon Arrives"

Damon's Pov:

I just arrived at the beach. The sun was coming up and it made the water look so beautiful. As I crossed the bridge into the city I saw the hotel where Y/n and Stefan were. On the way here I ordered myself a room and as soon as I got there I started settling in.

Y/n's Pov: 

I woke up to bright sun rays hitting my face. I felt a body next to me and I turned to face this person. Turns out it was just Stefan again. Why was Stefan sleeping next to me? I didn't wanna wake him so I stayed like I was until he woke up. "I know you're awake Y/n." he said in a deep groggy voice. That was the sexiest thing I had ever heard. "Stefan why are you in my bed and not your own?" I asked. "Well you see Y/n I got cold and I needed warmth so I came in your room because it's warm and I kinda fell asleep next to you." he said. "Oh. Next time ask me first!" I exclaimed giving him a playful punch. We both just laughed for a minute before he asked what I wanted for breakfast. I told him I wanted bacon with a waffle and a glass of ice water. Stefan, being the gentleman he was, got to work right away. Me on the other hand, I went to take a five minute shower. I stepped in the hot shower and I was in instant bliss. I loved hot showers. Somehow, they always managed to calm me in whatever mood I was in. I knew I was in the shower longer than five minutes when I heard Stefan knock on the door. "Y/n, breakfast is ready." He said loudly through the closed door. "Thanks, I'll be right on out." I said loudly back. I quickly finished my shower and got dressed. I walked out of the shower into the kitchen with a short sleeve shirt, a pair of gym shorts, a towel on my head, and my undergarments on of course. Stefan and I were in the middle of eating when we got a knock on our door. Stefan went to answer it and quickly slammed it. "Y/n, we've been compromised." He said with a small laugh. "What do you mean "compromised." I asked with a confused look. "Aw cmon' Stef, don't leave me out here, it's cold." I heard a very familiar Damon say through the door. Stefan and I chuckled and I let Damon in. "Ah thank you Y/n, at least SOMEONE cares." Damon said exaggerating the 'someone'. Stefan put his hand on Damon's shoulder and chuckled. "Okay boys, what do ya'll say we go stick our feet in the sand?" I asked. They both exchanged looks and then nodded. "Don't worry, we WON'T be swimming. I hate ocean water, it always dries out my skin." I said. They both nodded in agreement. I got on a pair of pants that were cut on both sides with a loose crop top and some crocs and we hopped in the car. When we got to the beach it was nice. The sky was blue with very few clouds in it and there were birds flying around and there were parents and children playing in the sand and in the water. "This day is so pretty. I wish it were like this everyday." I said sighing at the end. Stefan and Damon put their arms around my shoulders and we all walked to the sand. I took my crocs off so I wouldn't get sand in them and so did Stefan and Damon. As we walked along the beach I couldn't help but feel joy. I had not been to the beach since my folks passed. I sat down on a towel we brought and watched the waves. We stayed at the beach until after sunset. By the time the sunset came we were all on the towel watching it set while talking and just having a good time in general. When we got back to our room at the hotel I changed into some less sandy clothes as did Stefan and Damon. "That was a fun adventure." Stefan said. "Yes, yes it was."  I said with a smile. "Well what do you want for dinner princess?" Damon asked as he walked in the room. I blushed slightly at the nickname but I kept my composure. "I want pizza and fries with my favorite soda." I said. They both nodded and Damon went to go get it while Stefan and I stayed here. 

??'s Pov:

I watched as Damon left the hotel. Stefan was still there so I couldn't make a move on Y/n just yet. "I will have her if it's the LAST thing I do." I thought to myself. I followed Damon to the pizza parlor. I was careful not to be seen or heard as I watched him. They didn't deserve her I did. Just as I was about to go away someone put me in a choke hold. "Tell me why you're following me or die." A very angry Damon said. "H-hold up man it's me. It's Alec." I said through choked breaths. Yes I was Alec. In fact I was Y/n's ex Alec. "What are you doing following me Alec. I don't know you." Damon said still holding his arm tightly around my neck. "Alec from when you were in Jersey." I said still choked. Damon let me go but before he did he said this, "Look I don't know who you are and I don't care, just stop following me around and this will all be over okay?" He said more demanding that asking. I nodded and that was when he let me go and he vanished. I was glad he let me go but taking Y/n would be much harder than I thought.

Stefan's Pov: 

Y/n and I were sitting on the couch. She had her head on my shoulder and it was just the most adorable thing ever. We still had some time before Damon got back and I was getting bored. Suddenly we got a knock on the door and it was Damon. He got back way faster than expected. "Shh." I said quietly, pointing to Y/n. Y/n had fell asleep on my shoulder and I didn't want to wake her. Damon nodded and quietly set the food down and then sat next to us. We both played with Y/n's hair, careful not to wake her. Her hair was like silk and smelled of blue raspberry. That was probably the shampoo and conditioner she used. It was getting late and the food was going to waist so I decided to wake her up. "Y/n." I said in her ear. "Hnm." She said kinda groggy. "It's time to wake up sleeping beauty." I said again. Damon was asleep next to her. It was really starting to piss me off that he was here. I wanted Y/n and so did he and if I can't have her, he can't either. She slowly sat up and rubbed her eyes. I guess she smelled the pizza and fries because she knew right where it was. She went to go fix herself a plate but I did it before she could. "Now what kind of gentleman would I be if I didn't fix m'lady her food?" I asked rhetorically. She giggled and sat on a stool. She began eating but not fast because she liked to savor her food. I poured me and Damon a glass of blood which Y/n thought was just red wine. We were eventually going to tell her just not right now. Damon eventually went back to his room and it was just me and Y/n. Y/n was tired so I carried her to her room just like last night. She once again protested but I ignored her and did it anyway. I kissed her forehead and headed to my room to sleep. I hoped I would wake up next to her again but I knew I wouldn't as it was comfortable tonight and I was tired. With all that being said I went to sleep.

Damon's Pov:

I snuck back into the penthouse suit that Y/n and my brother had. I could sense that Y/n was not really asleep but she was awake reading a book. I lightly knocked on her door and entered when I heard her say "Come in." I sat down on her bed and asked, "Whatcha reading?" She looked up from her book and said, "Oh it's a book about these three people who are in love but they don't want to admit it to each other. It's a rather interesting book if I do say so myself." She said, going back to reading. I laid down in her lap as she read which she didn't seem to mind so I didn't ask. We sat in a comfortable silence as I watched her expressions as she read the book. Her face went from a bright smile to a laugh to a confused look and then back to a smile. She fell asleep later and I took the book and laid it to the side. I fell asleep right where I was and I didn't even realize it until I woke up just before the sun was up and ran back to my room. If Stefan didn't make a move soon I was going to and I was going to get what I wanted and what or rather who I wanted was Y/n and I always get what I want.

A/n. Ya'll already know it. Another good chapter and a long one at that. This took me so long to write because one I was busy with school and two I just couldn't think of what to write. Anyways starting on Ch. 5 now and I can't wait for you guys to see it.
