Ch. 5 "Confessions."

Y/n's Pov:

I woke up bright and early. I remember Damon falling asleep on my lap but he wasn't there anymore. How did I know, well I felt him when he got up and left. I bet he didn't want Stefan to catch him. They were so jealous of each other and it was painfully obvious. Anyways I walked into the kitchen where the smell of a delicious breakfast was being cooked. "That smells really good." I said. "Thank you." said a voice that wasn't Stefan's or Damon's. "A-Alec?" I asked scared. "That's right sugar pie, I'm back." I couldn't believe it. I refused to believe it. My abusive ex was here while I was on vacation. It couldn't be real. Not after what he did to me and then he comes back like it's nothing. "I'm gonna have fun with you Y/n." He said in his devilish voice. "N-no please!" I screamed as he walked over to me. I tried to run but he grabbed  me and started doing things. "NO LET ME GO!" I screamed again. (End of dream)

"LET ME GO!!" I screamed when I woke up. Stefan rushed in the room to see what was wrong. "What's wrong?" Stefan asked, panicked. "I was- I was having a d-dream that's all." I said still scared and out of breath. "That must have been some dream. Did someone attack you?" Stefan asked as tears started streaming down my face. "Shhh I'm here, it's okay now." Stefan said wiping tears from my face. After I calmed down I explained everything to him. From when me and Alec were dating to why we broke up and why I got away from him. It was hard for me to talk about it but Stefan sat there and listened the whole time. "Don't worry. He will never get to you again. Not as long as I or Damon are alive." Stefan said seriously looking at my face. I nodded and hugged Stefan tightly. "Thank you." Was all I could say before I fell back asleep. Stefan sat with me the whole time to make sure I was okay. Later Damon stopped by and Stefan explained to him what happened. Damon explained to us that Alec was following him and Damon made sure to have it be known to stay away. I was relieved that I had Stefan and Damon there to watch after me. Later it was just me and Stefan again. We were sitting on the couch. I had my head on his shoulder and he had his head on mine. We were in a comfortable silence. "You're so cute Y/n." Stefan said, making me blush slightly. In an instant he picked his head up and grabbed mine to face him. He looked in my eyes and I looked in his. He was looking for consent and I nodded. He cupped my face in his hand while the other slithered around my back. Our faces were mere inches away from each other and he closed the distance. It was a very sweet but passionate kiss. When we pulled away he had a worried look on his face but he quickly smiled when I kissed him again. We were full on making out when Damon walked in and caught us. He dropped the drinks he was bringing us and ran out. "D-Damon come back!" I tried to yell but he was too far gone. By making myself and one of the brothers happy I hurt the other in the process and it hurt me too. I wanted both of them and not just Stefan. I got up and chased down Damon and somehow caught up to him. "Damon wait!" I yelled. He turned around and stopped. He had tears streaming down his face and he had hurt in his eyes. "Damon look-" I said but he interrupted me by pinning me to the wall and giving me a kiss. It was a kiss laced with hurt and sadness but also compassion and care. When we pulled away I tried to speak but he put his finger over my mouth. I loved them both but could I have them both. Damon hugged me but he was still crying, still hurt and still longing for an answer. I gave him a sad smile and ran to my room crying. I locked the door and Stefan and Damon were both trying to get in. "Go away." I said through sobs. Somehow they broke the lock on the door and got in. They sat next to me and hugged me. "We're sorry." they said in unison. "We hurt you so much Y/n. We didn't know it would hurt you this much." they both said sadly. "No it was me who hurt you because I can't choose just one of you, I love you both." I said as the tears stream down my face again. "It's alright don't cry." Stefan said. Stefan wiped my face and him and Damon gave me a kiss on both sides of my face. They left me to be in my thoughts and as the day passed I fell asleep. I didn't even want to eat dinner. I couldn't believe how much I hurt both of them. It hurt to know that the ones I love were so close but yet just out of reach.

Stefan's Pov:

It hurt me to know Y/n was hurt and not only Y/n but Damon too. If I had never kissed her then we wouldn't be in this mess. Y/n would have ate dinner and Damon wouldn't be hurt. I just hoped that Y/n would be okay by in the morning. Damon slept on the couch for the night and I slept outside Y/n's room. I couldn't fall asleep knowing that I hurt Y/n so I silently cried myself to sleep which is something I haven't done in a very long time.

Alec's Pov:

I was outside Y/n's window. I could sense she was in pain and the others too. I was getting ready to open the window and kidnap her. She was sleeping so peaceful it was almost too easy. I opened her window and took her out of her bed bridal style and headed to my hideout. When I got her there I tied her up and laid her on my bed. "She's going to be so happy to see me again." I said devilishly in my head. 

Damon's Pov:

I woke up to the sound of someone storming through the house. "How could I let this happen? HOW COULD I LET THIS HAPPEN!?" Stefan screamed. I couldn't sense Y/n and then that's when I knew what happened. "That bastard is gonna pay." Stefan and I both said in unison.
