Your Perspective

I stretched my part bird dragon wings. My claws poke out of satisfaction. My stomach grumbled. I felt my teeth poke out more. I was hungry. I got up and went to the hotel kitchen to make something to eat. As I was preparing my food, Alastor came into the kitchen. He had a large bloody buck on his shoulders. He stopped when he noticed me.

"Hello!"

I smiled and greeted back.

"Hi, Alastor."

We continued to make our food. He mostly just took apart the buck and put some pieces on a plate. The rest of the buck went in a big freezer. We both finished preparing and went to the table to eat. We ate quietly. Alastor broke the silence after staring at me for a moment.

"Your teeth look different. So do your claws."

I looked at him.

"How so?"

"They are shaper and larger."

I lifted my hand and showed him my claws retracting and poking out again. I did the same with my teeth. He had an unreadable face. He tried to speak, but cut himself off. Then sat for a moment before actually speaking.

"Interesting..."

I just laughed at his reaction.
