Kaz's PoV, Age 8 --------------------------------------------------------------
Me and the ominous Crimera have been staring at each other for a short time now, maybe if I slowly back away from the red flying monster maybe it'll go away?
Big mistake.
I have only backed away for only a few steps before the Crimera backed away and charged aggressively at me.
Like anyone else in that situation, i ran for my life, trying to ignore all of the prickly and painful thorns ahead of me.
I ran as fast as my little legs could take me before I arrived at a dead end of a huge moth shaped cavern before me, surely this was the end for me, right?
Thankfully it was not.
Yet.
From a nearby tree I could see that I could very much easily climb the darn thing to hopefully get over the large opening cave...thing.
Two things have resulted from this, one thing was that thankfully, the crimera went inside of the cave blindly, like the idiot it was.
However, on the other side I could see that there was even more crimson ahead and around me, with the bonus of even more monsters than the one crimera that I was just running away from.
Monsters such as even more Crimera, Face Monsters, a few Blood Crawlers, and a lot of Crimslimes and Herplings were all over the place, and something as weak as my wasp staff that I stole was definitely nowhere even near strong enough to take on any of these monstrosities.
I had no where to go, either direction I went was filled to the brim with horrors of the Crimson biome as far as the eye can see.
I just want to go home, why did I even decide to leave the school in the first place?!
I didn't know what else to do except to just try and go back the way I came from, I just hope that I didn't run too far away to the point where I would be lost. If that happens, I am a goner, never to see my family and friends, nor the light of day again.
I began to slowly back down. . . . . . . Suddenly, I felt a nudge and heavy breath coming from behind my back.

It was a Face Monster, and it was just standing there.
I was too scared to move, and that quickly became my second mistake today.
