Chapter 10

"Nee-chan... Akio nee-chan!" Called Muichiro. Akio's thoughts disappeared as she looked at the boy.

"Yes, Mui?" Asked her.

"Someone's looking for you." He replied. Her eyebrows furrowed when she saw who it was.

"S-Sabito?" She said. She stood up and went to the door where Sabito was standing.

"Do you need anything?" She asked.

"I heard from Tengen and Giyu that you weren't feeling well so I've decided to give you these." He said then he pulled out a small bouquet of chocolates from his back. Akio blushed before she received it.

"It's so pretty! Thank you!" She said and she gave Sabito a hug. They quickly pulled away when they heard a loud thud. Sanemi kicked the door open.

"No flirting in the hallway." He said.

"We're not flirting." Akio coldly replied. His fists clenched then he decided to leave the two alone.

"What's wrong with him?" Asked Sabito.

"I don't know. He's always like that." She replied.

"Akio..." She stiffened when Gyomei called her name.

"Yes, Gyomei nii-san?" Asked Akio. The gentle giant walked to them.

"What are you doing here, Sabito?" Asked Gyomei.

"I just came by to give her chocolates." Sabito reply then he bid goodbye.

"Hmmm. Why did he suddenly appear? Is he courting you again?" Asked Gyomei and Akio's eyes widened.

"Gyomei nii-san! He's not!" Replied Akio. Her face is now red.

"Then why are you blushing?" Asked Gyomei.

"I am not! It's just hot. That's all." She replied then she entered the classroom again.

"Akio! Can I get my earrings now? The one that you confiscated?" Asked Tengen. It's not actually her decision, she just had to because the teacher made her do it.

"Sure, let's go to my office." She said and Tengen nodded.

"But can you carry this for me though? It's kind of embarrassing." She added then she handed Tengen the bouquet.

The duo left the room, Tengen rested his arm on her shoulder as they climb up the stairs until they reached the fourth floor.

When Akio opened her office, she saw a single rose on her table with a sticky note.

'Meet me at the rooftop.'

Akio ignored it and she continued to look for Tengen's earrings in her drawer. She saw another note.

'I said, meet me at the rooftop.'

Akio sighed.

"Are my earrings missing?" Asked Tengen with his one eyebrow raised.

"No! I swear I left it here." She replied while she continued to look for it.

"Tengen-kun, I think I lost it." Akio muttered and his face dropped.

"WHAT? YOU LOST IT?!" He asked unbelievably.

"But I swear, I left it here! Someone might've took it from my drawer." She replied.

She went to the drawers where her papers are located, she opened it and saw another note.

'Rooftop. NOW.'

She ignored it once again. She threw the rose and the notes in her bin and sat on her chair. She burried her face on her palm then she sighed.

"Akio, are you alright?" Asked Tengen calmly.

"Sanemi wants me to meet him at the rooftop." She replied. Tengen gave her a faint smile.

"Then go, maybe he wants to clear some things up." He said and he pat her head.

"Only if you're going with me." She said and he nodded. They both made their way to the rooftop. Tengen was left behind in the stairwell, listening to them.

"What do you want?" Said Akio as she saw Sanemi with his uniform buttons down revealing his 6 pack.

"Akio, I love you, please come back to me." He said while his hands are on his pockets.

"I told you, you deserve someone better." She said.

"No one's better than you, Akio. I promise I won't force you to tell them again. Just come back to me." He said with a sad look. Akio isn't used to seeing Sanemi with this kind of look on his face so her heart ached a little.

"But, I'm tired. I don't want to continue us anymore." She said while suppressing her tears.

"No you're not. You're just saying that to push me away. Please, don't push me away. Just think about our memories, our first kiss, the day we confessed to each other. Akio, I can't forget about those! I don't want to do it with someone else, I only want you!" He said and he pulled Akio to him. Akio burried her face on his bare chest.

"Promise me we'll stay a secret." Akio muttered. Sanemi couldn't help but to smile.

"I promise, baby." Sanemi replied and he gave her a full long kiss.

"They don't know about us?" Asked Akio when she pulled away.

"They don't know about us." Sanemi replied.

"ACTUALLY, WE DO!" The two stiffened when they heard Rengoku's voice said that. They saw the whole gang in the stairwell watching them.

"Sorry, I couldn't help but to tell them." Said Tengen while scratching the back of his head.

"TENGEN YOU FUCKING SNITCH!" Said Sanemi and he chased Tengen around the rooftop. Gyomei gave Akio a wide smile and Akio felt light.

"My my! I knew you two would end up together! We're so happy you two are now legal!" Said Shinobu with a sweet smile and Akio couldn't help but to smile too.

They now know about them.
