Marinette woke up on Saturday morning feeling good. Her date last night replayed in her mind over and over again. Oh, it really was one of the best nights of her life!

She climbed out of bed and headed down to the kitchen to get some breakfast. Her mom was washing dishes at the sink. She poured herself a cup of coffee with two spoons of sugar and buttered a few slices of bread.

"Good morning, darling. How was your date last night?"

She smiled, sitting down at the table.

"Oh, it was amazing Mom!" she sighed, resting her head in her hand. "The food was great, we all had a great time, and Luka was so romantic! He even brought me on a motorcycle!"
"Heh, I know, I heard it!"

Marinette smiled at her mom and sipped her coffee. Sabine kissed her daughter's cheek and brushed a lock of her hair out of her face.

"I think it was one of the best nights of my life," she said, grabbing her plate. "I'm gonna go back upstairs."

"Okay, sweetie, I love you."
"Love you too!"

Alya squealed as she uploaded the picture to her social media pages. Not her LadyBlog ones, obviously, but her unnamed ones she used when she wanted something not to be traced back to her.

Underneath the photo, she put a caption:

OMG!! Is Adrien Agreste cheating on Kagami Tsurugi?

A few minutes later her pages were blowing up. Everyone was retweeting, reblogging, sharing the picture everywhere they could.

Oh, she just couldn't wait till Kagami and Luka broke up with them! Then everything would go back to normal!

As Marinette closed the trapdoor in her room, she paused as she saw her phone vibrating on her desk. She walked over, setting her plate and mug down by her computer. She picked up her still buzzing phone, sat down on her chaise lounge and opened her phone.

Marinette's brow furrowed. What were they talking about?

Tapping in her passcode, she saw that pretty much everyone she knew had sent her a similar message and attached a picture. Opening it, her eyes widened and her hand flew to her mouth.

It was an image of Adrien kissing her in front of the Eiffel Tower!

She stared at the picture on her phone, not moving for a few minutes. What was that? Adrien and she had never kissed, not properly! How did that image even exist?

Marinette was snapped out of her shocked trance by a text from her boyfriend.
