DID HE REALLY need to go down, no. it was just an offer he didn't have to take, and usually he wouldn't. he enjoyed his time alone, there were no annoying people irritating him.it was just him and his thoughts alone. and maybe that was the reason, why he walked down the stairs and towards the couch where she'd usually be at.
"the fuck are you talking to?"he asked her, raising an eyebrow as he watched the girl holding a green thing in her hands. holding up the thing she held in her hand, she said, "lupita,"with a bright smile onto her face. he looked at the thing that was in her hand as he squinted to recognized it. it was a tiny, green turtle, apparently named lupita.
"who names their pet lupita?"he asked, confused by the name, as he sat down beside her. "she's a latin turtle, she deserves her proper name,"y/n said, placing it back into its aquarium.
"so you chose lupita?"he asked her. "yes, it's not her only name though,"y/n said, looking at him. "you'll tell me her name, right?"he assumed, which was right.
"Her name is lupita maria rodriguez martinez,"y/n said smiling at the name she had given her turtle seven years ago.
"you know, normal people usually call their pet 'pebbles' or 'cookie. "he said sarcastically as she rolled her eyes. "those people are boring." she said, as he raised an eyebrow. "what?"she asked, retiring the same look. "what'd you name your pet?"
he knitted his eyebrows. "i don't have pets." she looked at him, surprised. "not even when you were little?" she asked him. "never had one." he said, surprised by her shocked reaction. "why so shocked?"he asked, amused. "i always figured youd have like a dog or something." she said, looking at him.
"really?" he said, surprised by her answer. "yeah, i imagined you two going on a run every morning," she told him as he chuckled. "im more of a cat Person though,"he said, leaving her yet again surprised. "guess you don't know me so well after all,"he added, clicking his tongue.
"okay then, tell me something I don't know already,"she said. her curiosity grew towards him. she'd always analyze people and they'd usually be on spot, but now this single detail made her question all of her abilities. Bakugo didn't know why, usually he couldn't care less about people, but a weird feeling was telling him, that he wants to know more of l/n, or it was just simple boredom.
"okay,"he agreed. "but don't fucking lie,i hate lies"
bakugo added. "bet,I'll start, uhm,"y/n said, thinking about questions she could ask him."where were you born?"she asked. "you gonna ask me the most basic question ever?" his face dropped. "just answer the damn question I couldn't think of anything" she justified herself. "Japan Tokyo," he responded anyways. "where are you from?"he asked her, as she gave him the same look as he had given her. in response he just shrugged. "both of my parents are from colombia but I was raised in Japan,"she said.
