"Pst...Bree are you awake"

I could hear the faint whispers as I began to wake up. The second my brain registered it was awake, I was aware of all the pain that was shooting through my body. I was sore. I was mentally and physically exhausted.

"Pssssssssst... BREE"

I snap my attention to Amelia's voice coming from outside my cell. I crawl over to the bars and look out but can't see anything. Amelia was finally back in human form! and she was okay! I knocked on the cell bars in a pattern to let her know it was me and I was listening.

"Oh thank god." a big sigh was heard. "I was so worried you had been hurt" she whispered. "Are you okay...knock once for yes twice for no"

I knocked once. I could sense her relief by the way her breathing eased up.

"I'm okay to. I took a big hit to the ribcage, but I don't think its broken"

I could hear her sit back down. I was so happy to know Amelia wasn't hurt either. I thought the worst when I heard her blood curdling howl. The room fell eerily quiet for quite awhile.

I heard Amelia make a slight giggle.

"Hey" she said softly. "Do you remember that one time... Rais had to go on a business trip, so it was just us girls at the house annnnd Luna thought it would be a great bonding relaxing time so she let us all pick a movie to watch and we all spent the whole weekend on the couch watching movies." she paused and giggled. "Five had picked out the funniest movie, and we were all dying of laughter and you were laughing so hard you fell off the couch which only made everyone laugh harder and you lay there just rolling silent laughing which only made it funnier" I smiled. "I remember we all stayed up so so late that last night...because we didn't want it to end. So, when everyone else went to bed at some point, we stayed up watching more movies. It was just us sprawled on the couch, eating snacks, until the sun came up"

It got quite again and I could hear her sniffling...

"I-I don't want this to be it...I'm not ready to die"

My heart tore into shreds. I had tried so hard not to think about the predicament we were in and what the outcome may be, but with my friend, who was the strongest person I knew, sitting there crying and I couldn't comfort her...Tears began to swell in my eyes. Were these memories all that we had to base our lives on. A few moments of happiness is all we got...

"I Love You" She said between sobs. "What ever hap-happens, thank you for being my best friend" She cried.

I was in a full on cry by this point. I was crying because my friend was crying, because I couldn't comfort her, because I wanted more in this life, because I was scared beyond belief at what was to come. I slid to the corner of my cell and pulled my legs up to my chest and cried. I cried for what seemed like hours and once again the quiet filled the air...

I cowered in the corner of the dark and cold cell. There was nothing but utter silence around me. It was deafening.

My ears perked as I heard hissing sounds come from the vent. I looked around in the never ending darkness to see if anything changed. Nothing. I was beginning to feel cold, my arms were heavy, my nostrils were burning, I felt so weak. I could hear a scraping sound and then I saw bright light pour from the door that just opened. I slowly sat up to be more alert. I could smell... something but couldn't differentiate between the smells. Something burned but something smelt maybe sweet? I could hear foot steps descending the stairs and see a black manly silhouette before it reached the bottom of the stairs and began walking. The footsteps seemed to be getting closer. I stood up with my back to the wall. The lights flicked on. I squinted and put my hand out to block the light. I could barely see the figure standing at my cell door. The door unlocked and this man walked in.

The aura this man was giving out was making it hard not to tremble or it could have been just how weak I felt, but either way I figured with this strong of an aura, he was a very high title and the only thing I could do was bow to show my respect and maybe it would show I wasn't a threat. So, I bowed.

"What is your name" a manly voice bellowed kinda muffled.

I slowly held up Four finger.

"Four..Four What" He barked.

I panicked. I pointed to myself and again held up Four fingers.

"Do you think this is some sort of game" he yelled.

I couldn't talk and he was demanding my name. I quickly remembered that the guards had not checked me before putting me in here. I made the begging hands, put up one finger, and mouthed one second please. I pulled out my speech device from my pocket and began typing and simultaneously glanced up for a split second just to see a fist plummeting towards me. My back felt the force of the wall first and then my side and head felt the force of the floor next knocking the breath out of me. I was gasping for air and everything became fuzzy. I could hear screams but could not make out what was being said. My vision grew fuzzier and darker before eventually everything was all black and my world faded...
