The plane finally arrived in sunny LA. You walked off the plane scanning the large crowd for your Aunt and Uncle. Finally a familiar face. With their hands waving back and forth, You couldn’t help but smile seeing them.
“Oh Sydney look how big you are! You are quite the young lady! ” Aunt Martha said.
” Oh no, you’re gonna have all the boys in LA chasing you all summer ” Uncle Bob teased.
With a big smile you hugged them and started heading for the car. About a 30 min drive and they were pulling in the drive way of the house. You had never been to their house before and not knowing what to expect your mouth dropped seeing the large oceanfront property. After getting settled into your room you came downstairs to the open living room.
“So Sydney, what do you want for dinner?” Uncle Bob asked,
“It doesn’t matter to me, anything is fine” you replied. “Actually I think I’m gonna go explore and take a walk on the beach if that’s ok with you?”
“Well Sydney I mean you just…” Aunt Martha started as she soon got cut off.
“I think that’s a great idea!” Uncle Bob interrupted.
Quickly getting up you rushed out to the beach. It was a beautiful day and surprisingly not to many people on the beach. Taking your shoes off you dug your toes into the soft white sand and took in the beautiful beach atmosphere. Surfers out in the water, a volleyball game going on, and a few people out running.
Starting off down the beach, you turned your focus towards the waves crashing and the surfers out in the distance. Daydreaming you hadn't realized anything going on around you.
BOOM!
You fell onto the sand and some guy quickly followed.
“What the heck!? Watch where you’re going!” you said pushing him off you.
“I’m so sorry I wasn’t paying attention. Are you ok?” the guy said
“Yeah, yeah I’m fin…” You looked up to see this super cute guy with these beautiful brown eyes. “I’m.. I’m fine”
“Are you sure? well atleast tell me your name! I’ve never seen you before ” his smile was infectious and you couldn't help but stare into his beautiful eyes.
“I’m Sydney, I just got here today”
“Well nice to meet you Sydney! I’m David”
